Every Dinosaur In Jurassic World: Dominion Explained
November 5, 2024 - After years of survival, Rexy faces new challenges in Jurassic World: Dominion, which opens with a sequence set at a drive-in theater where she causes carnage while fleeing BioSyn helicopters. The fan-favorite T-Rex sees her arc conclude by the end of the movie too, finally getting revenge on the Giganotosaur who killed her 65 million years ago – a surprisingly satisfying end for a character who's a dinosaur.

Dinosaurs Set To Appear In Jurassic World: Dominion - FossilEra.com
It made its Jurassic premiere with a short appearance in Fallen Kingdom, shrieking at the protagonists as they attempted to outrun a volcanic eruption. It also appears as the antagonistic dino in the promotional short film, Battle at Big Rock, where it terrorizes a family of campers. In the upcoming Dominion, Allosaurus seems to have a much larger portrayal, in both senses of the word. It shares a rampage with the Cretaceous dinosaur Carnotaurus in what appears to be the Maltese city of Valleta, where it seems to be much larger than its real life counterpart.

Every Dinosaur In The Jurassic World Dominion Trailer - SlashFilm
February 12, 2022 - Blue is the velociraptor we're first introduced to in "Jurassic World," and now it looks like she has a family of sorts in "Jurassic World Dominion." Blue would rank higher on my list if she had feathers since it has been discovered that a lot of dinosaurs were more birdlike in appearance than popular depictions have led us to believe.

March 6, 2025 - I also consider all Carnotaurus to be quarantined outside the park, to explain away them. Dilo is mentioned in the Gyro tour, so I take the 6 public carnivores to be Rex, Sucho, Bary, Metri, Dilo and Compy. This leaves the Monolophosaurus and Ceratosaurus unexplained. So I treat those as also upcoming species for Jurassic World.

r/jurassicworldevo on Reddit: Is there a definitive list of Dinosaurs on Isla Nublar during Jurassic World?

Please add your source as I’m recreating the park and want it to be as accurate as possible. I’ve added concepts such as Plesiosaur Pond too. The wiki has been helpful, but just incase there’s canon I’m missing.

Not as far as I am aware. When the first movie was coming out there was a website for the park with the following: Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Stegosaurus, Apatosaurus, Parasaurolophus, Velociraptor, Microceratus, Edmontosaurus, Ankylosaurus, Baryonyx, Suchomimus, Gallimimus, Dimorphodon, Pteranodon, Metriacanthosaurus, Mosasaurus, Pachycephalosaurus... I think that was it. Future movies confused this list by adding Carnotaurus, Allosaurus, Sinoceratops, Stygimoloch, Brachiosaurus and Compsognathus, to name a few

There's a couple of ways to go about it, in JW they say the park opened with 8 Dinosaurs on display, it's safe to assume that all of these animals came from the Old Group bred by InGen in the 80s and 90s. I assume they wouldn't display the Dilophosaurus for how potentially dangerous it would be to do so, but we do know Dilophosaurus was on the island. Old Group: Ankylosaurus Baryonyx Brachiosaurus Compsognathus Dilophosaurus (not exhibited) Gallimimus Parasaurolophus Triceratops Tyrannosaurus Rex At the beginning of the movie Grey also says that the Park has 20 species on display, 14 Herbivores and 6 Carnivores, but there could be a loophole there with the piscivores. So in my opinion the official list by the beginning of JW is this; Herbivores: 14 Ankylosaurus Apatosaurus Brachiosaurus Edmontosaurus Gallimimus Microceratus Nasutoceratops Ouranosaurus Pachycephalosaurus Parasaurolophus Sinoceratops Stegosaurus Stygimoloch Triceratops Carnivores: 6 Carnotaurus Ceratosaurus Compsognathus Metriacanthosaurus Monolophosaurus Tyrannosaurus Rex Piscivor: 5 Baryonyx Dimorphodon Pteranodon Suchomimus Mosasaurus However, I believe JW was getting geared up for a new expansion of the park which was going to include the Indominus Rex, which was delayed because of growth anomalies. To coincide with this expansion I assume they had more dinosaurs planned but in the process of maturing. Hence the juvenile Allo in FK and with the Island quickly turning to a free for all at the end of JW I doubt many of these maturing species would survive. Allosaurus Peloroplites Teratophoneus And finally there were the unsafe species that they weren't able to or didn't want to display. Dilophosaurus Indominus Rex Velociraptor This is just my own crackpot theory that I came up with in my own delirious free time so take it with a grain of salt.

Most fans of the Jurassic World trilogy will be familiar with Blue, the leader of the pack of velociraptors originally trained by Owen Grady in 2015's Jurassic World. Velociraptors are one of the most bird-like dinosaurs ever discovered. The species is known for being small and fast, with the sickle-shaped claw on the second toe of each foot making it a formidable predator. In Dominion, Blue appears with Beta, a 4-foot baby raptor and Blue’s identical genetic clone, who she teaches to adapt and survive in an environment even more dangerous than the jungles of Isla Nublar.

r/jurassicworldevo on Reddit: Where did all the dominion Dinos come from? And what happened to Isla Sorna?
July 20, 2023 -

To my knowledge all Dinos in JW were either fresh clones or those found on Isla Sorna. Isla Sorna dinosaurs were those on the InGen List.

But we do know that Jurassic World dinosaurs all died in the volcano, except for the eleven species saved in FK.

Question is where do the Lystrosaurus, Atrociraptor, Giganotosaurus and the rest come from? The ones that are not on inGen's list and are not in the 11 saved species?

Was there illegal poaching on Nublar after the catastrophie? Or perhaps these are fresh clones from competitors (Wu said in JW2 that they will make more, so probably gene splicing is no longer his speciality)

My problem with the whole timeline is that in JW2 it seems like dinosaurs will go extinct by the volcano, yet everyone forgets Sorna exists. Meanwhile in Dominion all kinds of new dinosaurs are running around ALL OVER the world, even though only Big Rock is mentioned as a place where Dinos were brought (and that's just the 11 species saved)
