little bluestem advice? (MN)
there's really no wrong way to do it, but i feel like native grasses are so much easier when started in a 3 gallon plastic nursery pot where you just cover the surface of the soil with seed. eventually they turn into a big ol' healthy plug that immediately looks good. another benefit to starting in pots is that you don't have to stare at a blade of grass on the ground and debate whether or not it's one you planted or if it's just lawn grass lol More on reddit.com
