I'm pulling the trigger on little sleepies!
My guy is about to outgrow the 6-9 month Cloud Island sleepers. I loved how inexpensive these were. I'm looking at buying 12m footies now, brands like Carter's/Honest Co/Burt's Bees and their footies seem to be around $15 a piece.
SO, if Little Sleepies really last as long as they're hyped up to, and will last at least two sizes, they're definitely worth the price. Plus they're freaking cute. This is a rehearsal for how to tell my husband we're buying $32 pajamas for our baby.
What size should I try in LS, I'm thinking 12-18 months? If he's about to outgrow 9mos in other pajamas?
First post here, the moral of this post is that I think little sleepies purposely makes their clothes too big to cater to the “omg my 4 year old still fits in his 12month romper!!” scene. My son is and always has been at the 50th percentile for both height and weight, for most brands he switches a size up right around the time he hits the age range (switched to 12-18 around his first birthday, etc.) I’ve NEVER had as many problems with a brands sizing than with little sleepies. I bought one romper from them when my son was younger in 3-6 I think and it wasnt bad but I preferred other bamboo. But i’ve always seen the posts of people being obsessed with this brand and so I caved and I splurged on their black friday sale getting convertible rompers mostly in the 12-18 size & 2T. My son just now turned 18 months and is growing out of the 12-18 size in almost all of his bamboo pjs (they’re not super small just the neckline is stretched down a little bit so I know it’s time to size up soon) and i’m slowly switching his wardrobe to 18-24 month. And he STILL doesn’t fit in his little sleepies 12-18 month size. The cuffs on the arms and legs are so insanely scrunched up there’s just way too much unnecessary fabric there. Like they’re fine to wear I just feel like they don’t fit right. They advertise that these are meant to “grow with your child” & “last so long” but I just feel like in reality all their sizing if just off. Like if all your 6-9 pajamas fit 18 month old toddlers but not 6 month old babies doesn’t that just mean your sizing is off? In all reality I don’t get the hype at all, the material is ok but their prints are not anything special and I don’t understand why people worship this brand.
My boy is 3 months, 13 lbs 24 inches. What size to get in zippy? I’ve done a ton of research on sizing and feel like 3-6 is best but I worry about him growing out too quickly. We do have a 3-6 that we got second hand so I wonder if it’s a little stretched out. He fits but def has some room to grow. Would 6-12 be huge and not fit for a while?
Also was looking at the shorties and it seems like there are a few shorty styles. The new ones I’m thinking 6-12 so it fits him a while, I’ve read size up. But I’m also looking at the Mickey forever shorty romper play and I am not sure if I should do 3-6 or 6-12! Thanks.
Hi! I want to order family matching Christmas pajamas from Little Sleepies, but I’m wondering if the adult pajamas run as big as the baby stuff? My son is almost 10 months old and has lots of room in his 3-6 month little sleepies still, so not sure the adult pajamas tend to run bigger too and if my normal size would be too big on me. I’m usually a small or medium, but tend to size up in pajamas for a looser fit.
my 12 month old baby is about 21 pounds so i am wondering what is a good size for him?
Why is the sizing chart on LS website so wrong and makes no sense (especially the 18-24M and 2T)💀💀
My child has room to grow in their 12-18M size Zippy and they’re 35” and 29lbs by LS sizing chat he could fit into both 2T and 18-24M but when I put the 18-24M on he has wayyyy too much room and gets irritated by the amount of extra fabric. I had gotten a cars zippy 2T and there’s no way it’s gonna fit like 🤦♀️🤦♀️
My daughter is almost 4 and wears 3/4t in regular clothes. She’s about 35 pounds. Do you think a 3T zippy would fit her long enough to be worth it?
Mine is 33ish inches and we’re at the end of being able to fold over the feet on the 12-18 month. So I personally think the inches include being able to cuff the feet.
She would be able to wear them a really long time without the feet cuffs but I like her feet covered at night.
Hi! For those of you with kiddos 1 years or older that have been around for at least two Christmas’, what month were they born and what size did they wear their first and second Christmas? My baby was born in May, and she just recently moved up to Newborn. I moved her up as soon as it started pulling at the neck with the hands and feet cuffed. I got her a 0-3 in the Christmas zippies this year, but I would like to go ahead and get her a zippy for next year since we have the matching family pjs. Thanks!
My daughter was born in October and her first Xmas she wore 0/3 month I believe and last year she wore 6/12 month and she was 14 months
My daughter is an August birthday and her first Christmas wore 3/6 LS with room to grow (she probably could've fit 0/3, but we'd just bought our first pair that year). By second Christmas she was comfortably in 18-24 lol she got big fast
ETA: I went back to some pictures and we still had 12/18 in rotation so I think we were just barely starting on the size up. She was starting on 2T two pieces, but 3T would've been even better
I have a 3 month old who wears 9m-12m onesies and carters sleepers. I’m unsure of his exact weight bc we go to the dr Wednesday but he’s probably right around 20lbs and approx 24-26in. Should I get 3-6m little sleepies or 6-12m? I don’t want him squished bc he’s a roly poly and has fat wrists but I also don’t want him to grow out of the immediately so I’m nervous of getting 3-6m 😅
My daughter wore hers up to six months. Even if you get the “right” sizing, it will be really big, but my daughter is pretty petite. She doesn’t grow like my son does. The sleeves are very long, we’d have to roll them up for a while and then she gets to use the feet haha. I hope that helps. She’s 3 now and still fits in her old sleepers lol
My baby is 27 inches, 16 pounds. She wears 0-3 without the feet and the 3-6 months with the feet cuffed. 6-12 may be a little big but I’m sure you can make it work with the sleeves rolled up and get more wear out of it!
ETA: my baby wears 9m in carters.
I have never bought little sleepies before, but I’m hoping to get my new baby and toddler a matching set.
If I get the 0-3 month size to help the PJs last longer, do you think I could reasonably put them on my newborn? Or would I have to wait? If I want him to be able to wear them sooner, should I just stick with newborn size?
If it matters, my first baby was 7 lb. when he was born. I’m guessing this baby boy won’t be entirely different, but who knows!
My 14.5lb 4mo still fits into her newborn little sleepies PJs with a bit of room to grow! It fit her very well when she was born at 8lbs 6oz.
I’ve never used nb size but from the posts I’ve seen, you may even want preemie for the new baby.
My 10 month old has been wearing 0-3 since she was 2 months old.
My little guy is 10 months old. He is 19lbs and 29in long. He is starting to get too long for his 6-9 footie sleepers and we just transitioned him into 9-12. I only have a few in that size and have realized how hard it is to find 2-way zip beyond 9mo. From what everyone says these really are worth the hype and will last. From the size chart looks like he would fit best in a 6-12? Realistically, how long will these fit him. Trying to convince hubby that it will save in the long run. Any coupon codes?
I would get 6-12. My twins wore them until around 18 months and they are 95th percentile.

Anyone else notice major sizing inconsistencies? I have multiple zippies of the same size that fit completely differently. I’ve noticed that darker backgrounds fit smaller. The sizing guide is also crazy inaccurate. My LO is 18 lbs, 27in, and based on those stats should be at the end range of 3-6m size. But they’re soooo baggy on him! He allegedly fits into 6-12m according to their size chart, but I haven’t even tried to get them on him because there’s just no way with how baggy the 3-6m are.
Am I crazy?! I don’t remember these sizing inconsistency with my daughter! She’s been wearing LS since she was an infant in 2022!
Has anyone ever purchased LS pjs?? An XS (0-2) would be true to size for me but they only have a S(4-6) in the print I want 😫 anyone know if sizing up would just swallow me or would a wash and dry shrink it a little?
Hello, momma to be here! I’m looking to buy some zippy sleepers and wondering if someone can give insight on sizing. I know the size chart says Newborn is for 8-12 lbs.. with that being said, if anyone can share how accurate the sizing was/is, personal experience with how long that lasted for baby, and if I’m better off getting Newborn and 0-3 months, that’d be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
Hi! I'm about to buy some pants for me and my husband but only the men's pants are left so I'll just get myself some men's cuz who doesn't love a baggy pj pant! I have mediums in the women's pj pant and they're a bit roomy but I wouldn't go small. Would I go medium in the men's as well? Or small? Thx!
Hello all! My family has a long tradition of doing holiday pajamas and it is my year to pick. We have previously gone with Burts Bees but since my nieces love their little sleepies, I was looking at their holiday collection.
Some years we've had issues with the pjs for the men, some of them being a tad...revealing. Do any of y'all have an idea on how the men's pj pants run and have you had that issue with them?
Thanks!
FTM here. I just bought my baby’s first twirl with the HP drop… how do these typically run? I bought a 6-12 in hopes it would fit by next fall. She’s currently 11 weeks, almost 14 lbs. do these stretch like the zippies?
Do any of you own little sleepies? Is there actually anything that makes them special or hype? I understand they have cute patterns but I’m honestly wondering if there’s more to it than just that???
