Hello Snarkers, new and seasoned. In light of this Reddit/Facebook crossover event, the mods have a few notes.

1. Before you post any screenshots please redact names and faces (including your own!). Even for adults. We’re working on a new rule for the sub that covers this and in the meantime will be removing things we see that haven’t been redacted.

2. We’re going to keep the weekly thread active for now, but we will be in here modding with a heavier hand than usual until the situation dies down.

3. We can’t control what happens on FB, but be mindful of what you post here. Anyone caught doxxing will be banned.

I love how this has become a snark page. I bet LS is upset they can’t control this sub!

Hi, this page keeps coming up on my feed as something I would be interested in (???). I have no idea what the little sleepies lore is or why there is so much snark. But these posts with the old ladies in kids pajamas kills me every night when I doom scroll rocking my kiddo while he sleeps.

Can someone explain like I’m 5 years old what little sleepies is

I will preface this post by saying I'm just in a bad mood.

Anyway, I was gifted a pair of little sleepies. I didn't know of the brand when I was pregnant. When I looked how much they were I was shocked ! However , I read about how much they stretch and how the fabric is good for warmer weather.

I bought two additional pajamas during mat leave.

Months later I'm declutterring so i decide to list them on marketplace. OMG I could not deal with all messages I got from people. The first person who wanted them was a no show so I reposted. Got like 30 messages. I got too stressed about it I just deleted the listing. Even after deleting the listing ppl are still messaging me.

Why do these attract such a cult like following ? I am in NE Ohio middle class suburbs. I feel like these are just a dumb status symbol for people who probably shouldn't be spending $35 on Jammie's (that was me...).

One of the pairs my baby wore the most is all faded now. I don't get the obsession. I think carters sleepers are fine.

UPDATE 7/7: shipping site says delivered but nothing came. I’ve had around 3 other people comment the same at this point. Officially a scam!

UPDATE 7/1: "[My city] Leaving the sorting center" LOL THIS IS ALL NONSENSE RIGHT?! All of these updates seems so vague/meaningless. I've already been refunded and replaced my card so I don't really care, just hilarious how creative it's been with dragging this whole process out.

UPDATE 6/30: "[My city] Arrive at the last mile sorting and distribution center"

UPDATE 6/28: “Accepted at logistics carrier Regional Destination Facility” also specified my city but obviously not including that here for privacy reasons. Sooo may have an update re: package received in the next few days?!

UPDATE 6/19: status is "Leave the Los Angeles proceessing center"

UPDATE 6/12: for anyone wondering if I've received anything, so far no - but the shipment tracking has continued to progress. As of this morning my package has allegedly arrived in the US from China. I will post another update if I receive something! Also very happy to see the number of folks who were able to avoid the scam due to this post. There's a silver lining, at least!

Yesterday morning while I was scrolling on Instagram, I saw an advertisement for a crazy good sale at Little Sleepies. I placed an order, received a confirmation email from Little Sleepies, and I was able to open the website from the email and view the details of my order like normal. Today I received shipping confirmation, but when I click the links it takes me to a "Page Cannot Be Reached" webpage and the url is dignlike.com

I now also see the email I received the shipping confirmation from looks a bit suspicious. Everything else in the email, to me, looks legit. There are no misspellings or grammatical errors, logo included, etc.

I've googled the website & email address and get no real information, though certainly no indication of an association with LS. I reached out to Little Sleepies but I'm also posting here to see if I can get any more info (and perhaps more expediently). Did anyone else see this insanely good sale yesterday? Did I get scammed? Do I need to freeze my bank account? Or was this sale just so good I literally can't believe it?

UPDATE: Yes. The answer is yes.

ADDING FOR MORE INFO: You fell for it, now what?

I'm not an expert by any means, but since a lot of us seem to have fallen victim to this and may not be sure of what to do in this situation, I thought it might be helpful to include my recommendation:

1. Freeze your card/account. Most banks have a way of doing so by the click of a button on the online portal or app. If you're not sure, google "[Bank Name/Credit Card Company] freeze account". I was able to do this online, and after freezing the card I was able to order myself a new card online as well. Easy peasy. You don't have to close your accounts provided you didn't give them your actual account number. They only have your card number, and card numbers are intentionally easily replaced! The most annoying thing will be updating the number any other places your card info is saved (autopayments, etc). My bank even offers a temporary "mobile card" for use while I waited for my new physical card to arrive - so you shoulnd't have to be without access to your money while you wait.

2. Report the fraud to your financial institution. Whatever credit or debit card you used, research how to report the incident & file a dispute. For example, I used my Bank of America debit card. I called their customer service and explained the situation. The representative I spoke with sent me an email with instructions & a link to report it. I had to wait for the charge to move from Pending to complete, then I clicked a couple of buttons and bada bing bada boom, they messaged me to let me know that after an "investigation" they've decided to refund my $40.40. Wahoo.

If anyone has any additional tips/advice to add, please feel free to chime in :)
