It seems like this has happened a couple times before, but those other threads never really had a resolution.

Here are the facts: I ordered something on 1/29, and it was shipped via USPS. Tracking showed that it was delivered successfully on 2/8. I never received it. The buyer is fairly reputable (956 stars, +429 feedback).

So far: I've contacted the USPS postmaster but nothing has come of it yet. Obviously, I feel bad that I didn't get something that I paid ~$150 for. I also don't wanna screw over the seller by asking for a refund, so I've asked the seller whether they insured it.

Other than that, what else can I do? I don't really trust the USPS to find this package since it's already the 24th. So at this point, either I get screwed or the seller get screwed.

Edit: for future people who have this issue. I contacted the local postmaster general and they had me fill out a form. A couple days later, the package randomly showed up in the mailbox. I can’t say this will happen for everyone, but it worked for me.
