The Walt Disney company has decided that since the 2025 remake of Lilo & Stitch was so financially successful, they are going to remove the original 2002 version from Disney+ after its theatrical run concludes.
“We think it’s better in every way,” said Disney CEO Bob Iger, “You know, it was our goal all along to replace the beloved original so that regardless of what people think of the remake, they will have no choice but to watch this one from now on.”
It’s a shame because many fans actually prefer the original to the 2025 version. But alas, it doesn’t matter if you disagree with the creative choices of the remake because now you will be forced to only watch this version forever.
When asked his opinion on the matter, former Disney CEO Bob Chapek said “This was actually one of the only good choices I made during my tenure at the company. I even suggested having Disney cast members break into the homes of Lilo & Stitch fans to burn their DVD’s.” When asked if Disney plans to follow through on those plans he said “no comment” before walking away mumbling “F*** Gantu. F*** Jumba. F*** your cvnty-ass bobs.”

Well there you have it. Now that there’s a new movie only one can exist and we can’t enjoy the old one anymore. Since the remake made more money it’s the superior version and you’re not allowed to enjoy the other movies and shows anymore. It was nice while it lasted.
