Obviously people who are saying you shouldn’t use IKEA furniture in this home haven’t lived within their means. Yeah, you could probably go into debt furnishing it with antiques or whatever, but why do that? Live with what your budget allows and upgrade as you can. Not every house has to look like it’s going to be on the cover of Southern Living. That being said, it’s a (very!) blank slate, and could really use a little bit of color. I love my Kallax bookcases; they work well as display shelves. They now have door or drawer inserts which look great and hide my crafting supplies beautifully. I understand you are probably trying to counter the heavy right-angle square squares squares elements around it tile, window, stand, chair, ru), etc) but to me that circular table is too much removed from the squares. I wonder if an asymmetrical rounded shape would be better, like a skewed oval or egg shape. Or that round-corner triangular kind, might be better. As for wood bs glass, go wood. Your room has many beautiful, deep woody tones that nod to eras where glass tabletops had yet to emerge. I think wood is more classic, will be less likely to look outdated, and won’t require constant cleaning to keep looking clean. Bonus: wood has the option to be painted or (if it’s real wood and not particleboard kinda stuff). Finally, glass right there might interstate sunlight though the window and refracct to obnoxious places like your TV screen. What a beautiful room though. More on reddit.com

It would probably sag, that’s a long length for only four legs. They do come with screws, just no pre-drilled holes like the desk tops do. If anything, I’d do 6 legs instead of 4.

Height wise it’s a tad short for dinner table, but not terrible.
