Recently revamped my living room/den area. What kind of coffee table should I get?

LIVING ROOM
You said you'd like your living room to feel fresh and comfortable, so I combined a vibrant blue couch with a cream-coloured slub chair and ottoman set. The tall dining room table can stand perpindicular or flush to a wall, or even out in the open, if you want- whatever fits your space and needs better.
Curtains in sheer white and light grey linen line the windows. I used furniture with modern lines in mango wood, sheshade, high-gloss white lacquer, antiqued steel, and white iron anchor the look together but keep it fresh and light.

Coffee Table
This coffee table doubles as extra seating for entertaining company.
Antiqued Steel Fin Coffee Table-Bench $350
Side Table Trio:
This trio of side tables could be useful between the sofa and chair. The white iron bases match the white iron basea of the dining chairs below, carrying a subtle theme of white-on-wood.

Dining Table & Chairs
High table picks the eye up off the floor. The table can be used standing alone or flush against a wall. The only drawback is the sensitive (easily stained) steel surface. You will need a special cleanser for it, and you must use something to keep it from getting wet.
Steel & Mango Wood Stern Counter Table $500
White Iron & Mango Wood Wilson 24" Barstools $179/ea $358/pair
dining table & chairs: $958
Protective Placemats (steel surface is sensitive):
They also have a 'placemat for two', which would be a better choice if you plan on putting the table flush lengthwise along a wall.
Grey, Natural or Green Vinyl-coated Linen Placemats $24/two pairs
Table Top Decor:
The bright blue inside of this bowl carries the colour of the pouf and sofa across the room. It also compliments the round shape of the pouf. A dark, medium-size vase stays in touch with the dark wood legs on the sofa, chair, and ottoman set, sculptures on the coffee table, and acacia vase on the media shelf.
Pool Blue Table Bowl $30
Brown Freeform Vase $15
dining table, chairs, placemats, & table top decor: $1057

Media Stand $230
You didn't mention a TV, book collection, whatever...so I just guessed and gave you space for a small-medium flat screen TV. The high-gloss white lacquer and free-floating design of the console keeps the room feeling light and airy. Feathers in an acacia vase lend to this floating quality. Worn white vases give the space a lived-in look without dominating the eye.
Hi-gloss White Laquer Media Console $230
media console: $230
Surface Decor: $110
Worn White Vases $70/pair
Sepia/White Tail Feather Filler $10/pair
Acacia Box Vase $30
media console & surface decor: $340

Window Treatments
You also didn't mention needing linens or window treatments, but these linen panels pick up the neutrals used on the pillows. You can get cheaper versions at any home goods store, i.e. Target, BB&B, etc.
White Linen Panel $50/ea $100/pair
Light Grey Linen Panel $50/ea $100/pair
curtains: $100-200/window

Wall Art
Here is one lone piece of art. Again, don't know if you need anything of this nature, or your taste. If you put something on the walls, I'd focus on texture, instead of colour. There's enough colour with the sofa, pouf, and cushions.
Graphite Iron Wire Wall Sculpture $30
wall art: $30
If you were to buy everything in this post, you would just about hit totally go over your 5k limit, so I would take this as a pick-and-choose reference list. You might already have some of the smaller items on hand, or you might choose a different bright colour instead of the pool blue as a base.
Finally, I'm sure if you look online or in stores you could find similar versions of almost everying on this list for less. I kept it to one store to give the best idea of what I envisioned for you.
Since I didn't know the actual dimensions or layout of your room, I can't be absolutely sure this furniture would fit! There were some other sofa & table combinations I saw that would work for a smaller space. The smaller items are also cheaper, so that's a good way to trim down the big-ticket furniture pieces so you can still afford all the extras.
EDIT:typos and I suck at math.
