I'm looking for a decent sofa around $1000 that won't get lumpy or pile so easily. I saw this one in store and it was nice and the reviews are good. Does anyone have experience with living spaces furniture or know about construction materials that can tell me if it seems okay based on the produce description?

I just ordered a sectional from there and am considering cancelling my order based off reviews (and if it'll even fit in my doorway)
Also a little put off by potential chemicals in the materials they use
A lot of reviews are about crappy quality. It's just my GF and I so I can't imagine we'll beat up the couch a lot.
Any experiences?
We have a $1,400 budget for a new couch. I love both couches, the Wayfair one has a lot of good reviews but I’ve heard great things about the longevity of pieces from Living Spaces.
PLEASE do not suggest Facebook market place/second hand. I have been on there constantly and nothing even close to my taste has shown up. I will keep looking until I order, but I’d like to find something new under $1,400 if nothing second hand catches my eye.
With all the folks living in apartments and condos, I figure somebody in Durham had mastered the cheap furniture game. 🤣
I know $1200 isn't a lot of money for a couch. I get that the couch will be on the cheaper side of materials. However, this will be me and my husband's first "new" piece of furniture after our current couch broke (my nephew liked to body slam the couch every minute).
I've seen lots of options but I'm nervous about the "real" quality of what we'd be getting. As long as I know what to expect, it's fine, but I don't want to be advertised a flawless product and get something that tears on day 2. Also, Tiktok is giving me lots and lots of couch ads right now and I'm barely holding on. 🤣😅
I've looked on Amazon (want to avoid at all costs), Wayfair, and Costco. I'm just not confident and want to know if any pieces they sell are actually worth it. If I must, I'll resign myself to restore (habitat restore is great and where we got our previous couch set, but we just want something that's ours). Thank you for your help!
Moving into a new, larger apartment next week. My current studio is too small for a couch but my new place is a one bedroom. I don’t want to spend more than $1k (USD) on it. Where are the best places to buy one? I’ve checked FB Marketplace but am not able to pick up a couch. Almost every listing I see that I like says they can’t deliver so I’m kind of stuck on where to order one online. Thank you!
Edit: Thank you everyone for giving me suggestions! I didn't even think about getting movers to just pick up a couch for me. I found a very gently used West Elm couch on FB marketplace for $300. Hopefully it's good! If not, I might wait til next weekend and snag some labor day sales on the sites y'all were recommending!
I am trying to get a new sofa. a starter sofa. I am in my late twenties. I don't want to spend more than like 2k if possible. I need it to be easy to clean or washable, modular, and cream. I am between the:
- Cozey Gaia XL
- Living Spaces Zone Cream
Does anyone have experience with either? I don't know which to go for. I was able to sit on the living spaces one because they have showrooms in the US, and I liked it, but I am worried about the height in the back not being tall enough and it looking sloppy in general, maybe? but perhaps that is because it is a showroom piece? The Cozey Gaia looks like a nice option BUT there is no showroom for me to test it out, which freaks me out. Looking for recommendations! Thank you in advance!
Was looking at this couch today (https://www.livingspaces.com/pdp-kit-mercer-down-ii-3-piece-sectional-247989) and was wondering how's the quality on this? The configuration I wanted was a tad over 3k (no chaise on the right hand side). Would I be better off looking at another brand/model? The cushions were pretty comfy with the mixture of down/foam.
Young adult looking to get some good but cheap furniture. I have an Ikea and a Living Spaces nearby ans was wondering what others' experience has been. Please discuss! I need others' wisdom!!
Mostly looking for dresser, shoe cabinet, possibly new end tables.
I came across LivingSpaces.com. They offer a lot of furniture I'm interested in buying, but have seen almost no mention of them on reddit in the past. Just wondering if this site is legit or if there is anything I should be aware of

Render of the room with the sectional
In short, we’re looking for a “cloud” style sectional with washable covers. I see so many brands advertised on Instagram that it makes my head spin, and all of them have minimal/mixed reviews at best.
I know the “cloud” style is relatively new, but I don’t want to shell out for something that’s going to lose its fluff, tear easily, or have slats you can feel between the cushions when you sit down after a year of owning it.
My husband has a couple asks, but his main one is that it has back support, not a short back like some slouchier styles have.
I would love to hear y’all’s opinions, and I’ll hear out deviating from my hope of having a cloud couch if none of these brands are trustworthy/well-made, but I really don’t want to 😅
Thanks in advance!!
Looking for something very cozy for our TV movie family room area. I only want to buy this onve, I know joy it's isn't the best but what about Anabei
Hi. I’m having a hard time choosing between these two couches. They’re both sectionals and both the same price. Please help me decide between these two!! I can’t decide.

I had IKEA's Friheten for 4 years and was happy with it. For $950, it was sufficient. I loved the pull-out model and almost always kept it popped out. I love lounging on it. The only thing I was not happy about was that it felt too firm. I got a foldable mattress for guests but I want to use the sofa as is without feeling uncomfortable.
Because of too many spills, and because I wanted to replace the couch anyway, I got rid of the dark grey Friheten. I am now looking for a similar pop-out sleeper sectional sofa with a chaise (hopefully with storage). My budget is under $2000.
The cushions should be firm, but not as firm as Friheten. I want something in a light color like beige or light grey. If it has to be dark, dark blue is ok.
I checked out the Dante model in Living Spaces,
These are some options I am looking at:
West Elm - Harris model is the model I want but it's way too pricey $3200 - $3800. Also read negative reviews (https://www.reddit.com/r/BuyItForLife/comments/isx0h0/comment/is98c2f/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=web2x&context=3, ) about West Elm on reddit (mostly about how the quality does not match the price)
Article - NORDBY sectional - since its online-only, I do not know how firm/ plush the cushions are. Also, I saw some bad reviews about Article on reddit.
Living Spaces - Dante - I loved the cushions but it has too much padding (the head rest is not needed for me) so it looks too big in the living room.
IKEA - Holumsund/ Friheten - if there is really no choice, I will check out the Holumsund in store or settle with a beige Friheten :(
Does anyone have experience trying out any of these pop-up models? Do you have any other suggestions?
