r/QualityAssurance on Reddit: Load/performance testing tools research - K6, Locust, Artillery, etc.
April 13, 2021 -

Hi all,

We intend to do load/performance testing on the project, so I am in the research phase. On other project, I have used K6, which was quite nice and I liked it.

However, there is a possibility that the client would like a free load/performance testing tool, so I start looking for alternatives. I've played a bit with Locust, which seems nice and apparently is free. Also, I've seen some recommendations for Artillery.

Do you have experience with these or other load/performance testing tools? What tool would you recommend for load/performance testing?
