Python Implementation of Logistic Regression as Regression (Not Classification!) - Stack Overflow
I have a regression problem on which I want to use logistic regression - not logistic classification - because my target variables y are continuopus quantities between 0 and 1. However, the common implementations of logistic regression in Python seem to be exclusively logistic classification. More on stackoverflow.com

Logistic Regression in Python from Scratch
It’s good but you didn’t really discuss the mathematics like you said in the post. I guess it’d be better if you explained why we use the sigmoid and not another function with values between 0 and 1. Also, you could explain the choice of loss function. More on reddit.com

How to make my Python code which implements Logistic Regression run faster or run it on AMD GPU?

The way to make python run faster is to not run it in python. There are curve fitting algorithms in Numpy - use them.

October 14, 2024 - The scikitlearn’s LogisticRegression is by far the best tool to use for any logistic regression task, but it is a good exercise to fiddle around and write your logistic regression algorithm and see how your algorithm fares. It always helps a great deal to write algorithms from scratch, provides you with details that you otherwise have missed, It consolidates your knowledge regarding the topic. It will be helpful if you have a prior understanding of matrix algebra and Numpy. In this article, we will only be dealing with Numpy arrays.
