You can get great quality out of a lesser camera by having good lighting. Seriously, the lighting makes the biggest difference. Most webcams and even phone cameras don’t have the best low-light capabilities, but otherwise have decent cameras in general. The C920 used to be the standard. But that was a few years ago. Today the Logitech Brio is considered a good choice. I have a C920 and I avoid the issue of settings not saving by using the Mac app Webcam Settings, which saves named presets of your favorite settings. More on reddit.com

I am using the logitech for videos not streaming, I never used a camera other than my phone, The c920s is the best webcam available here and i watched some sample videos before buying it and it looked great, maybe i am a perfectionist but i feel like my footage is not 1080P , i have 2 ring lights and i have it on autofocus, it is not bad by any means just not as great as the videos i watched before purchasing it, would i need a sueprior camera which would be double the price or it will do for now and i should stop over thinking!

One of the major advantages with the c920 is UVC drivers.. i.e it works everywhere without installing anything ... Hello there.
