I recently bought a new Logitech G535 headset, hoping it would be an upgrade or at least a worthy successor to my old G533. I've been using the G533 for about five years and absolutely loved it, but unfortunately, it's been discontinued.
However, after getting the G535 and trying it out with G HUB, I'm seriously disappointed. It feels like a massive step down in every way compared to my old G533.
Here are my main issues:
Size and Comfort: The G535 is significantly smaller. It doesn't fully encompass my ears like the G533 did, making it feel less comfortable and secure on my head.
Low Volume: Even at maximum settings, the volume on the G535 is surprisingly low. It's just not loud enough for a truly immersive experience.
Poor Sound Quality: The audio quality is a major letdown. It simply doesn't sound as rich or clear as the G533, which really diminishes the overall experience.
I'm genuinely regretting this purchase. I was so happy with my G533, and I expected the newer model to at least maintain that standard. Has anyone else had a similar experience with the G535, especially if you're coming from an older Logitech headset?
I seem to be unable to find any comparison between these two headsets. the G535 is most of the time mistaken for the G335 or something else.
It looks as if the G535 is just a G733 without RGB, can someone confirm if there are any other differences between the two and which one I should buy.
I'm retiring my beloved G533, after many years of use the microphone cables have sadly disintegrated, and it stopped working. I think this is expected after day after day of lowering and raising the mic, I think it lasted 7 years! I have zero knowledge about audio hardware, I just know I love the way my G533 sound. Is there a headset in the newer Logitech lineup that is comparable ? I can get an "new"/unopened G533 for about 80 Euros, so I'd say to keep that as reference for the budget.
EDIT: forgot to mention, I'm looking for a wireless option, same as my G533.
