Found advanced settings for other G headsets but not for this one, does anyone have any refined settings to share?
Thank you very much.
Let me start by saying I've owned the g733 since December 2020. Like us all, my initial impression of the g733 was that it had horrible sound quality!
After following many guides and trying various g hub audio profiles, I thought I had fixed the issue. This was until I got myself a pair of high-grade IEMS which immediately made me hate the sound again.
Because my IEMS weren't wireless and I couldn't justify the tradeoff of putting down the G733 for good, I decided to try and tune them to sound like my IEMS.
MY SOLUTION:
TURN OFF ALL GHUB EQUALIZERS AND SOUND PROFILES BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Download Equalizer Apo and during the setup install the drivers for the G733
Equalizer APO download | SourceForge.net
Next, Install Peace Equalizer and select the Bass and High Boost 2 Preset and enable prevent clipping as seen in the bottom right. ( You can also mess around with the pre-amplifying if you find you're watching content that's not loud enough) The clipping will adjust it so the headset doesn't get overpowered or damaged.
In my opinion, a preamp of -11 works best in most situations.
Peace Equalizer, interface Equalizer APO download | SourceForge.net
Next, head back into Equalizer apo, select the green plus sign on the left-hand side, and in the dropdown, you will see 15 band equalizer ( this Is usually there by default ).
Finally, in the value box located top right. Enter these values
I feel like I've drastically improved the sound so much that sometimes I rather listen to my g733 than my IEMS. To get a comparison of default vs updated sound, you can press the power button on both equalizer apo and peace. ( YOUR MIND WILL BE BLOWN)
{EDIT}
These settings in peace equalizer will favor clarity and loudness over bass. This is what I currently use, however, I go back and forth between the two. Select whichever sounds best!
I am having disappointment with the default preset of the g733, i think that coming from a Sennheiser gsp300 the sound quality sucks. Anyone who have a custom eq settings that has more clarity and less bass because that's what i think problem with it. If anyone has an idea to what should I do because this is disappointment.
Same, I had a Somic g941 before, it's like a $40 headset but the bass on it was way more enjoyable, it was smooth and clear. On this g733 the bass is buzzing, it's so distracting. Do you feel the same about it? I'm thinking of sending it back actually, then getting a G Pro X. Also, I have this issue on YouTube https://youtu.be/HaC8m5hV8cc. Whenever I switch song I hear a crackling noise from the previous song.
No way... I also replaced my gsp 300 as the earpads were worn out with the g733. definitely adjusting the eq settings makes the headset sound way better
Hi!
I just got a pair of G733's today, because everyone was so amazed by the sound quality. Well, where exactly is the hype?
I was excited to try them out today, and the first game (which is quite sound-oriented) I tried was Tarkov. Footsteps? Barely audible - even my own. Left clicking blew my eardrums out.
Well okay, I thought. Maybe that's Tarkov just being itself. So I tried Hunt: Showdown! Another game where sound is very important. Huh, same story. Footsteps are basically ambience, and the gunshots blow my eardrums out.
I remember having this issue with my old headset, and the saving grace was turning on the Windows loudness equalizer. Guess what, a 150$ headset doesn't have that option?
I've been playing around with GHUB sliders for 8 hours, there's no middle ground. I don't want to have to make my audio sound like crap in order to keep my hearing!
That being said, the sound quality with music is actually pretty decent, but playing any FPS game in this without jumpscaring myself every time I shoot is impossible. Please tell me I'm missing something, and that I didn't throw my money into the dirt lol
Hello everyone!
I already got the new Logitech G733 in blue and I have to admit that the audio quality is far from being good. I do really like the headset in terms of comfort, wireless range, battery life and the design is awesome. Unfortunately the audio feels, I dont know how to describe it, week or not as great as it should be. In Discord I cant quite understand my friends becuase they hear kind of dull but at least the mic is fine they say. I previously used the Logitech G933 which was outstanding apart from the old software which felt like a joke to me and also the automated mute broke after like 2-3 years.
I would like to know if its only me having this kind of issues due to the fact that I downgraded the speakers from 50mm to 40mm.
Thanks in advance!
Kidna late but i just bought them this week. I think i fixed the issue i had with them from the box. Tried every tutorial on eq on yt but it sounded flat every time (tested it in valorant - shooting vandal with my old headphones and with these and also listening to my music - drift phonk, noticed it straight away). After few hours i tried turning every setting to defalut (turn off surrounded sound, off advanced eq) and just try to do something with bass and treble. FINALLY I FOUND THE SETTING THAT WORKS FOR ME: +7 bass, +4 treble that is all i need, dont turn on anything else. It sounds EXTREMLY GOOD like i wanted them to sound out of the box. Hope this will help someone
The headphones can be greatly customized to your likeing with the Logitech App, allowing you to change a number of different sound features as well as enable custome surround sound. I would say mess around with these first, as it is an important feature.
recently purchesed them and the sound quality was REALLY bad compare to my old g930's for some reason. i honstly dont know if i have a defective one or is it just me, but i played around with the EQ and came up with the best settings to my hears(might tweak it in the future). would love to know what you guys think.
