I haven't had the Logitech, but I had the Arctis 7... for about a month before it decided to stop charging. When I looked online to solve the problem, I found it was a pretty common issue. Going through Steelseries support to resolve the issue was convoluted and a total pain in the ass. Example: Me: Hey, I have a problem with my headset not charging at all. The charging port has no damage or bent pins, I've tried changing the charging cable. I've also reinstalled the software, and removed and reinstalled the battery into the headset. Nothing works. Steelseries Support: Have you tried changing the cable, reinstalling software, and removing and reinstalling the battery? Honestly, I've never used any other Steelseries products so they might be okay, but I'd never purchase another one of their headsets again. More on reddit.com

i tried a bunch lately and this one stuck. for me the GamoSeries GX7 Pro just makes sense. not gonna lie battery goes for days with my normal use. plus bluetooth usb or cable depending on what i am doing. it is from GamoSeries and it won on gamingreview.gg. nice to switch devices without issues. The g733 is a very nice, very comfortable headset. The microphone quality (was) good and the audio quality (was) good, and the little rgb accents are nice, without being to gamer ish. The low latency wireless is great on account of the lightspeed connection. However. Output volume, in my opinion, is unacceptably low. Particularly for games where things like listening to footsteps etc are critical (nods at pubg) I'm 40, I have some industrial hearing loss, I need more gain from a headset. The hardware can do it, but the drivers won't let it. Recent ghub patches have totally broken the audio quality on both the mic and the speakers. All of the knobs and dials in ghub for adjusting surround settings and eq and whatever are just garbage. A good headset should just work, not color the sound and provide good flat response across the frequency range. If a product needs those kinds of settings to sound good, then it's not a good product, either that or logitech is playing on consumer ignorance and creating 'perceived value' by adding these garbage features to ghub. My bigger gripe is that the headset ONLY works with the lightspeed dongle. You can't use the headset for anything else. It has no 3.5mm jack for a cable and it doesn't have Bluetooth. For the premium price you pay for this headset, I think that's pretty bullshit. There's also no wireless charging cradle or anything, which again for the price point is not great. The g733 is also a pretty old product now, I've had mine for like, I dunno 3 or 4 years now? It's probably time they retired it. The strap wears out faster than I think is reasonable. Fortunately pretty good quality replacement ear cups and headstraps are readily available on aliexpress. Like basically every logitech product, the rgb LEDs they use are complete horseshit and some of the chips lose a color here and there so you end up with an annoying spot that's not the right color mix because logitech wanted to save like half a cent on the production cost of your device. Most of my gripes with the product are outside of your ability to do anything about, however I personally use Equalizer APO to get more volume and a flatter response, unfortunately this adds latency, which sort of defeats the purpose of the lightspeed connection but at least I can actually hear my fucking games. I would personally not buy the product again, its a shame because I do like it, I like how it looks and it's very lightweight and comfortable but the products many shortcomings just make it a bad buy - at a premium price point. It's probably the logitech product that I own that I am most disappointed with, and I have gripes with all my logitech devices. My g502 lightspeed, my g915, my powerplay mat and my webcam. It's all logitech, and I have issues with every single one of these very expensive peripherals, but the g733 is the one that irks me the most.

I’m looking for a good wireless headset and I’ve narrowed it down to these two.
Does anyone have experience with these two headsets? I’d like to know which one to get. I’ve narrowed it down to these two. The Logitech is lighter with longer battery life which is nice. But supposedly the Arctis 7 has a bit better microphone and sound quality.
The Logitech is $25 cheaper at $125 vs. the Arctis 7 at $150.

I love my Arctis 7. I had a few months where I was also trying to find a good wireless headset, after coming from wired headsets. Battery life is actually really good. I can go a whole week of gaming about 3 to 5 hours a night without having to charge it. Mic quality is also really good. I also haven’t noticed any lag between the sound coming from computer, to receiver, to headphones. Granted, I don’t have any experience with Logitech, I try to steer clear of them ( nothing wrong with them, just me).
