My K380 doesn't work properly. My device is a MacBook. I can't use cmd + c (copy), cmd + v (paste), and cmd + space (spotlight). Left cmd doesn't work on all three, and right cmd works with spotlight but not copy and paste.
The keys individually work fine. I can still use the c key, v key, and space key. Both cmd keys are also working, as I can clearly use it to zoom in and out (cmd (+) + and cmd (+) -), select all (cmd + a), cut (cmd + x), and undo (cmd + z). So keys are not the issue. Just three shortcuts (copy, paste, and spotlight) don't work as far as I can tell.
I've tried:
-
Disconnect (and forget) the keyboard and reconnect it
-
Restart the device
-
Turn the keyboard on and off
-
Try the problematic shortcuts with the MacBook's built in keyboard and they are working fine
-
Reset the keyboard with (esc, o, esc, o, esc, b)
-
Try using in with other device (iPhone) and same problem occurs
-
Reinstall Logi Options+
-
Restore defaults to all keyboard shortcuts settings on System Settings (even though I never modified anything)
Hi, there..👋
I bought mx keys keyboard like a year ago and I should say it's a really nice keyboard. but right now I'm having two issues with it.
-
CMD + C (Copy Command) is not working
"CMD" key and "C" key is working separately and even CMD + V is working but can't do any coping with the CMD + C
2. After the mx keys connected to the mac it opens up the mac launchpad automatically from time to time without I even touching the keyboard.
I'm a indie developer and really suffering from this cumbersome issue for a month now and it's driving me crazy in the middle of the coding and I would truly appreciate if there anyone out there who can help me to find a solution to this problem.
Device: Mac MINI M1
OS: Sonoma 14.5
Thank you.
I spent a wonderful half-hour trying to solve this after updating to 14.2...
I have the "Logi Keys Mini," and after updating, the option and command keys suddenly switched places. On the MacBook laptop, the keys are fine and in order, but on the keyboard, they are swapped.
First solution: Keyboard layout
On any Logitech keyboard (but don't quote me on this), you can switch layouts by clicking fn + i/o/p.
-
fn + i: (press for 3 seconds) Switch to iOS layout.
-
fn + o: (press for 3 seconds) Switch to macOS layout.
-
fn + p: (press for 3 seconds) Switch to Windows/Android layout.
Second solution: Keyboard restart
You can try performing a reset by following these steps:
-
Turn off and then on the keyboard.
-
Press the following key combinations - Esc+O (release), Esc+O (release), Esc+B. All Easy Switch lights will blink continuously.
-
Turn off and then on the keyboard.
-
Easy Switch 1 will blink continuously, indicating it is ready for pairing. If the Easy Switch does not blink, please repeat the above steps. Pair the keyboard with the Bolt Receiver using the Logi Bolt software, or pair the keyboard using Bluetooth. Also, set the keyboard language layout in your system to match the actual keyboard, and see how it goes. For example, if you have a German keyboard layout, change the system keyboard language layout to German. Third solution: The "When the heck was this changed?"
In your Mac keyboard preferences, click on "keyboard shortcuts", go all the way down to "modifier keys" and select the keyboard you are using (in my case, USB Keyboard was the one). Make sure Option key is set to the Option key and the Command key to The Command, This was the problem in my case.
Good luck, and hopefully, I managed to save you some time :D
why do I have only 1 Command key.. This is freaking ridiculous...Brand new MX Mechanical Mini and they give just 1 Command key. How frustating.!!!
Long press fn+o (3 seconds) to switch your keyboard layout to mac os. https://defkey.com/logitech-pop-keys-shortcuts#105067
When you fix the modifier keys, is it durable? (I.E. you don’t have to make the change each time you disconnect / reconnect this and only this Keyboard and it sticks around after a month of OS updates.)
For me, I can't seem to get my MX keys Mac or my new MX Mechanical keyboard to swap with the function commands (fn - O or fn -u) so I resort to telling macOS to remap these two.
System Settings > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts > Modifier Keys

I’ve never needed to retrigger the “identify this keyboard” setup, but the OS should try to remember each keyboard unless the cable or USB controller board on the keyboard has changed or broken (re-flashed / updated / failure)
