January 5, 2025 - Sure, but they closed those offices only after their recent layoff rounds. That was 1.5 years after opening the KX offices. The KX, Brock, Rathbone, and Shaftsbury offices all co-existed throughout that. Besides: Rathbone wasn’t the second largest London office.

Google employs about 6,400 people in the UK and has set itself a target of 10,000. The building will feature a three-lane, 25m-long pool and a massive landscaped roof, including a 200m running and walking track.
