So this may end up being nothing.....
This morning I parked in the Mt Elbert lot. I took a ticket (only saw afterwards that I could have used my credit card) and parked. I remember looking at the ticket and thinking about where to put it and for the life of me, I don't remember what I did with it. I am concerned that I may have misplaced it or did something stupid with it. I am usually really careful about this but I was heading out of town to my grandmother's funeral, it was very early in the morning and I was going off of very little sleep. Basically I was all over the place and the fact that I can't remember where I put it concerns me (I usually know). I won't be back until Monday.
Basically I am curious how they handle lost parking tickets.
I am really hoping I left it in the car ...... It definitely isn't in my purse.
Need help with parking ticket info on how to reach parking violations for a lost ticket that I need to pay.
You can try recording that and then go set up an appointment to see the magistrate, make the case that you couldn't pay it and that it was a big waste of time to go down there, and you'll have a chance that might get waived. Also sometimes there's a 311 chat on the website that you might have better luck with
Lost a parking ticket once, since the website only lets you look up tickets by the ticket number I had to wait for a letter to come in the mail after it was late. Had the ticket number in the letter.
Alternatively you could try going to their office downtown
Long story short, I had to be out of town for a month due to a death in the family. I'm fairly certain I should have gotten a ticket for street sweeping, but when I got home there wasn't one on my car.
Is there a way to look up and see if I have any outstanding tickets using my tag number?
