Looking for the loudest portable Bluetooth speaker (200-500$)
Considering that you don't like big and not loud JBLs, you mentioned Xtreme 2 and Boombox 2, but you didn't mention the small (you can put it in a backpack) and loud enough JBL Xtreme 3. You can consider this option. But it costs as much as $ 350, which is no joke.
In this context, https://treblab.com/products/treblab-hd-max looks like a more profitable option. As for me, this is an excellent and cheaper version of JBL 3, with a cool sound and obviously louder. By the way, it's not too big and can fit in a backpack. It's really super loud, maybe even MEGABLASTS. The juicy $ 200 price tag makes it even cooler.
The third option - consider a series of Sony Srs XB 41, 43, etc. Perhaps you will pick up something from this. I know they are cool, but I have never come across them personally.

I'm currently looking for new speakers for work, as the ones I'm using are on there last leg.
I work in a truss building company, so there is constant LOUD sounds of hammers, air compressors, saws, machines, etc... So I need a speaker/speakers that can overpower those noises as much as possible. The 2 speakers I've been using (for the past 5 years), are the ONN Party Box speakers. They can pair to eachother, so if there's a speaker option that connect to eachother, would be even better.
I've obviously seen the JBL's, SoundCores, Sonys, etc... and I know that are held with high standards. But never hearing them and especially not in my work environment, I'm wondering if anyone has experienced a good LOUD speaker/speakers that can get the job done while I'm doing my job.
I'm looking for the loudest portable speaker that I could fit into my backpack. Any insight? I would prefer for it to be only a couple hundred dollars but I'm open to all recommendations.
Edit: my backpack is pretty small and will have other stuff in it so preferably the speaker would be roughly around the size of my old JBL Charge 4.
