I'm currently looking for new speakers for work, as the ones I'm using are on there last leg.
I work in a truss building company, so there is constant LOUD sounds of hammers, air compressors, saws, machines, etc... So I need a speaker/speakers that can overpower those noises as much as possible. The 2 speakers I've been using (for the past 5 years), are the ONN Party Box speakers. They can pair to eachother, so if there's a speaker option that connect to eachother, would be even better.
I've obviously seen the JBL's, SoundCores, Sonys, etc... and I know that are held with high standards. But never hearing them and especially not in my work environment, I'm wondering if anyone has experienced a good LOUD speaker/speakers that can get the job done while I'm doing my job.
What is in your opinion the best speaker that is loud en portable? It needs to have a built in powerbank for my phone. I need to be able to take the speaker with me on the bike. Budget = 300 euros.
This are the speakers I have found:
-
Tribit Stormbox Blast
-
W-King T11
-
W-King H10
Are there other speakers to consider?

I'm looking for the loudest portable speaker that I could fit into my backpack. Any insight? I would prefer for it to be only a couple hundred dollars but I'm open to all recommendations.
Edit: my backpack is pretty small and will have other stuff in it so preferably the speaker would be roughly around the size of my old JBL Charge 4.
So I work a lot, like 12 hour days, 6 to 7 days a week, and on the weekend at night there's like nobody here and I like to be able to listen to music through my shift while I work and restock and such, but every Bluetooth speaker I get isn't very loud, the problem is my work environment is just naturally loud (foundry) so trying to go over that noise and the sound of my forklift and stuff is a bit of a challenge. I don't want to wear earbuds as I need to monitor my radio and be aware of my surroundings while I operate machinery. Don't want something super expensive because it's gonna get dirty as shit too
I'd appreciate any help I can get :)
I’m looking for the oldest possible speaker I have a turtle box looking to see if there’s some this over 120 decibels
Looking for a speaker I can put in the back of my car. Want to be able to charge it w/ a cord rather than only batteries. Don’t care how big it is. Just want to be able to hear it while driving, and want the best quality sound I can get.
I would like to know what is the loudest possible bluetooth speaker out there
I just need a portable speaker that can be heard on the soccer field while I’m playing or taking shots, needs to be pretty loud with clear audio, portable, waterproof is a plus would be nice to have, and not too expensive either, although I was planning on getting it used anyways off eBay or FB. Thanks in advance.
I’ve been using a JBL Flip Essential for a while now. It works fine indoors, but when me and my friends hang out at this football field, it’s just not loud enough. The sound fades quickly if you walk even a short distance from it.
I’m looking for something still small and portable, ideally something I can easily carry or strap to a bag. It doesn’t need to fill the whole field, but I do want something very noticeably louder than the Flip. I’ve been looking at the JBL Charge series as the next step, but I’m not sure if it’s just a bit louder or a real upgrade. I’ve also checked out the Xtreme 4, but it seems a little bulky and I've seen some bad reviews of it. I haven’t really explored other brands—any solid recommendations?
Hi everyone , Looking to purchase a Bluetooth speaker.
I am looking at the JBL PB 310 , I tried the WKing T11 and not satisfied.
Need something louder for outside party.
Any advice would be awesome , is there a alternative to JBL PB 310 , the 700 is not battery powered.
Thanks.
Looking for the loudest commercial speaker for less than 400$
Im looking for a loud bluetooth speaker as my current speaker for parties is dying (pair of MEGABLASTS), I've had tons of speakers in my life but I'm here asking for help as I'm very lost of what to buy next.
I want a crazy loud speaker, I know that manufacturers can't do magic but Ive seen some impressive speakers for their size (Sonos Move, Bose Revolve Plus, UE MEGABOOM 3).
So Im looking for that kind of speakers. Heres goes a list of all my speakers if anyone finds helpful (ask anything, I've owned all the speaker I'm mentioning) I've had so far the whole UE lineup. The megablast is my favorite, loud but lacks some bass and its quite unreliable and the Hyperboom... well... its too big to bring in a backpack buy the sound is amazing and the bass is very impressive.
I don't like JBL as they are big and don't get as loud as they should considering the size. (Charge 4, Boombox and Xtreme 2). They do have good sound and good bass but its not what I'm looking. Im looking for loudness. Also they are not 360 which is good for my usage. I was blew away when the MEGABLAST was as loud as the Xtreme 2, easily twice the size. (I KNOW SOUND IS BETTER, IM JUST TALKING ABOUT LOUDNESS)
From Bose I've had the Soundlink mini II (meh in terms of loudness but crazy sound at low volumes), the Revolve Plus (my favourite speaker so far, it has bass and gets plenty loud).
MEGABLAST and Revolve Plus are very loud despite their size, but I've been told that some speakers can get even louder (I repeat: I don't care about good sound quality) so, here's my question:
I want to know if anyone of you know any "compact" speaker that gets very loud and can rival the Megablast or Bose Revolve Plus??
Has anyone heard of the Bose Home Portable Speaker? I've read it might the loudest, but I don't know for sure. Thanks so much and sorry for such a long post, if its the wrong subreddit just let me know!
Considering that you don't like big and not loud JBLs, you mentioned Xtreme 2 and Boombox 2, but you didn't mention the small (you can put it in a backpack) and loud enough JBL Xtreme 3. You can consider this option. But it costs as much as $ 350, which is no joke.
In this context, https://treblab.com/products/treblab-hd-max looks like a more profitable option. As for me, this is an excellent and cheaper version of JBL 3, with a cool sound and obviously louder. By the way, it's not too big and can fit in a backpack. It's really super loud, maybe even MEGABLASTS. The juicy $ 200 price tag makes it even cooler.
The third option - consider a series of Sony Srs XB 41, 43, etc. Perhaps you will pick up something from this. I know they are cool, but I have never come across them personally.
Minirig 3. Small and loud.
https://youtu.be/1HvfF-31Lmg Skip to 14 minute mark. The guy compares the megablast to an older minirig + minirig subwoofer combo.
What you should go for is 2 minirig 3 paired in stereo. One alone outperforms the revolve + or the megablast. https://youtu.be/9S5vDxVyUrQ 👈 minirig 3s vs hyperboom. You can buy the same setup without a sub.
I was looking at the JBL PB 310 and 710 and 1000 but realized 710 and 1000 need to be plugged in. Any suggestions on what to buy. Bus probably has around 60 people and i’m looking for it to be as loud as possible.
I’m looking at the JBL Boombox 3. Are there any alternatives? I want the loudest speaker with the most bass but still portable like the Boombox 3 or the Ult Field 7 from Sony. Bass is very important
As the title says, I'm looking for a bluetooth speaker thats very loud because I plan on using it for times when people come hang out during the summer in the yard.
In the past I have bought 30-70$ speakers that did NOT get the job done. Ideally, I would like it to be heard even if people were 10-15 feet away and in our swimming pool.
So far I've been looking at the UE Boom 2. Would this get the job done?
Battery life is also not a major concern.
The Boom was sort of ok for outdoors, but it was too boomy, and too weak in the high range for my sort of music.
Remember a $20 bluetooth adapter can turn any boombox or stereo into a BT player, most of them good for 10 hours or so.
Get the ue megaboom, JBL extreme, braven XXL.
