Hey all,
For context I have been using my wired non-inside the ear iPhone headphones for forever. I tried air pods once but I hate that ear plug inside the ear feeling, just a sensory issue for me. So I wanted to splurge for the holiday and buy myself some new headphones. Off I go to Best Buy, ask the guy where to get some wireless headphones that don't go inside of your ear and apparently they just do not exist anymore?? So the guy told me he also doesn't like in the ear headphones but the Beats Powerbeats Pro didn't bother him. So I picked up a pair, and although he was right, they don't bother me, they are so soft. Not like malfunctioning soft, I can tell it's as loud as they get, but compared to my wired headphones that can absolutely blow out my ears they just don't come close. I need absolutely deafening sound in order to make it through running because I hate it but need to do it.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
I’ve been using my AirPods Pro for the past year at the gym and honestly I like them a lot, but they die super fast now and take forever to charge. I did try using the Skullcandy Crusher Evos at one point but they broke within a month, so I’m kind of over those.
I’m now looking for a good pair of over-ear headphones for the gym. I don’t really care too much about the price as long as the quality’s good and they can handle being used pretty much every day. I know it’s probably not great for my ears but I love headphones that get loud and hit hard on the bass. That’s a big part of what keeps me locked in while working out.
I’ve looked into the AirPods Max, XM5, Sony Ult Wear, and the Crusher ANC 2. I was kinda leaning toward the AirPods Max but they’re a bit old now and I don’t really want to wait around for the Max 2 to drop. Just wanna grab something solid now.
Out of those options, what would you recommend for gym use? Or if you have a better suggestion I’m open to that too. Mainly just want something that’s durable, loud, and hits on the low end.
Thanks in advance.
