October 3, 2025Just bought this 70s vintage Ikea lounge chair. What are the first things you would do?
It looks pretty good. I’d clean the wood. Then sand and put a matte clear coat on. Then use a leather cleaner. And seal the leather. It’s a nice piece with great aging characteristics. More on reddit.com

N'achetez pas de fauteuil IKEA MUREN les fixations sont en plastique et sont totalement détruites après 2ans soit juste hors garantie. Pièces indisponibles au SAV IKEA, pas de solution pour IKEA... et donc 400€ pour la poubelle après 2 ans. Aussi impossible de publier cet avis négatif sur le site d'IKEA Belgique, supprimé sans explication...
