After eyeing the Lovesac bundles on Costco for almost a year, we finally opted to pull the trigger during this most recent event. Now several days in, we are really happy with it and since I've seen some mixed reviews, I wanted to share my experience.
We placed the order on Friday from Costco and almost immediately received confirmation from Costco and then Lovesac themselves. Costco's website is not specifying all the items included in the bundle but we called Lovesac directly to confirm and you ARE receiving all the bells and whistles given in previous roadshows (coasters, table, citysac, etc). All throughout the processing and shipping process, we continued to receive prompt and thorough communication from Lovesac directly. Most of our items showed up less than 6 days later, despite a quote of 3-4 weeks. The citysac is back ordered so we are still awaiting this item.
Now less than 2 weeks after the order was placed I am sitting on the couch typing this review. We are thrilled with the experience and purchase. I believe there are several factors that contributed to this being a successful experience:
-
we have the privilege of having 2 Lovesac stores within driving distance, and we made sure to go more than once to test drive the merchandise and ask lots of questions. Sitting on the seat is key and really think about how you'll be using it. We're binge movie watchers and parents of a 2 year old so comfort long term and durability are key for us. We found both so far here.
-
I asked questions to the salespeople directly, and confirmed over the phone. This refers to the first time I went in to Lovesac to ask if Lovesac still honors their warranty with items purchased through Costco. That salesman said no. I called corporate to confirm and they let me know that was not the case and that once you purchase from Costco, everything is fulfilled by them directly and handled directly, same as any other Lovesac purchase. Now that I have received my order I can confirm this was exactly the case. The only thing I would involve Costco in is if I had wanted to return my purchase.

I read lots online and watched some of the youtube review videos.

I went in with the expectation there would be tons of boxes and there were. We made sure to have our old couch cleared out an open space for the incoming boxes. We watched Lovesac's 3 Youtube videos on unboxing, putting on covers and assembling to help us put everything together. We kept our workspace clean as the videos suggested, breaking down boxes and grouping like items. We found it to be stress-free and a very easy process. If we HADN'T know there would be 30 huge boxes coming, however, I can see how that would cause so much stress.

I knew that this Costco bundle only allowed for the choice of standard inserts and would not allow (as purchased) for the deep seat. You have to purchase the deep sides for the deep seat. I saw a lot of people making returns because of this reason. Now keep in mind - the seats included in this bundle WILL work for a deep seat. You just will have to purchase a deep side (or several, depending on formation) for the deep sit. If you don't know this, hear it here. If you have the ability to go into the store and try it out - do so. I am shorter than my husband and found I prefer a deeper seat. He is 6'4 and didn't mind the standard seat, however, he is a couch layer so that is what he was excited about. I got around my neep for a deep seat by designating my side the ottoman side and that has been working out tremendously for us so far.
I can confirm after shopping around and in-store that you're not going to find a better deal than the Costco deal if you like the colors the bundle is being offered in. The coasters are fantastic, the table is functional both on the pillows OR as a lap table (fits my laptop, phone, beverage and room for more!) and the blankets are AMAZING - heavy, warm and so chic. The sqattoman is actually really cute and comfortable. The included throw pillows are large and squashy and even the basic covering that comes included is growing on me. My son was excited by the furry nature of the squattoman so I can't wait until he sees the Citysac and loses his mind. All in all, we are really happy and it's great to have gotten something new that I wanted for such a smoke show deal. If you're considering making this purchase, hopefully this post helps you out!
Edited to add the photo!

Last Sunday, my wife and I went to our local Costco to get some dog food and some chicken... of course one never only gets what they plan on getting while at Costco! Lovesac representatives were present and had a 6 seat / 8 side sactional couch present. We were in the market for a new couch and decided to have a go sitting on it. After lounging for a some time and discussing with the rep there, we decided to take the plunge and purchase a 4 seat / 5 side sacational. I will admit, the price was pretty steep. All in all we spend over 4k that trip (which was a tad higher than we were planning on since we originally went in for just dog food and chicken).
We were informed shipping would be either between 1-2 weeks or 2-4 weeks; well, imagine our surprise when we found out we would be receiving our couch on Friday, a mere five days after purchasing it! I started looking up instructions on how to set up the couch. The general consensus online seemed to be that the couch was a big pain the butt to set up, to basically set aside up to six hours to put together, and to be prepared to come home to a dozen boxes blocking your front door. Luckily, my wife and I are both teachers and have this week off for Thanksgiving, so I was ready to spend the day Friday setting up the couch.
10 am, a truck pulls up, and people were not kidding. There were a LOT of boxes. The delivery guys were glad to see us because they admitted they weren't sure what do to with all of the boxes and didn't want to completely block off our front door. Some videos I watched recommended making piles while unboxing: one of flattened boxes, one for plastic garbage, one for seat cushions, etc. This step I definitely recommend; it made setting up everything very easy! Next up after screwing on the feet pegs was the step I was dreading the most; getting the covers zipped up over all the pieces. I can safely say, at least in my experience, this was not as terrible as led to believe from commentators online. The hardest pieces were easily the sides; however, everything else was pretty straight forward and easy. This worked out great because another big reason we bought the couch was due to the fact we could easily wash covers as needed (with three dogs in the house this is a big concern). All said and done, after delivery it took about an hour and a half to fully assemble the couch with two grown adults.
So far (and yes, it's only been a couple of days) we are very happy with the couch. We've already utilized the customization aspect of the couch since buying it. We had some friends come over last night so we made it a bigger couch, then we changed it to have a long lounger on the end. Very easy to do. The only downside we experienced was a mix up in shipping. When delivered we were missing two boxes, one contained the footsac blankets, and the other covers for the side pillows. We've since received the covers; however, we are still waiting on the blankets. I am not faulting that to Lovesac though since it is holiday season. Time will tell if the couch holds up but from what I've read, these are pretty solid couches and my wife and I are very happy with our purchase.
Hey everyone, I’m considering checking out a Lovesac Roadshow and had a few questions for those who’ve been:
Are the discounts better than the online prices?
Do they offer more fabric/color options? Online, I only see Corded Velvet and two Brushed Weave colors.
Is it more customizable? For example, can I skip the PillowSac if I don’t want it?
Any other perks of buying at the Roadshow?
Would love to hear your experiences!
Costco just dropped this new bundle and debating on if we should buy through them or the lovesac store itself: https://www.costco.com/lovesac-6-seats8-sides-angled-arm-sactional-storage-bundle.product.4000295500.html
We got a quote with the 30% discount of 6 seats, 8 sides (2 deep seats, 1 storage seat in corded velvet) from the Lovesac store for $5.7k including taxes. The Costco bundle is $6.1k after taxes for the same amount of sides (no deep configuration) but 4 storage seats, a moviesac, 2 footsac blankets and throw pillows.
Anyone have any thoughts on if it’s better to go with the store as it’s cheaper and we have the warranty? Or do you think Costco is worth the extra couple hundred dollars for their return policy?
Open to all comments and suggestions!
Literally yesterday I was pricing out Lovesac sectional from the store & costco. Now suddenly its gone from the Costco app, and the Google results go to a 404 page. It appears there still are Costco Lovesac events scheduled. Is this a momentary unlisting that periodically happens at Costco? Is it only available there occasionally?
I'm baffled and now our plans for getting our sofa exploded right when we chose to buy from Costco rather than the store discount.
Hey everyone! Long time lurker here and thankful for all the helpful info this subreddit has provided. We're a married couple that bought the 6 seats/8 sides Costco Bundle back in Spring 2024 and decided to release a review video almost 1 year later.
Since then we've also bought another Moviesac Costco bundle (dealt with it being underfilled, but resolved), Lovesac accessories (comparing old and newer models), and gotten more Squattomans.
Hoping this review is helpful for new & current owners! Overall we're happy with our purchases for our new home. Feel free to ask us anything!

We purchased the bundle from Costco two years ago with 4 seats/5 sides. We got the love soft fill. For the most part we have been underwhelmed by the comfort of the couch. We were at the lovesac store today and their lovesoft couches were SO much softer and more comfortable than mine. After chatting with the store employee we looked at the tags for the cushions and pillows which explicitly say “lovesoft”. I just looked at my tags and there is no mention of lovesoft as the fill. I sit on the same spot everyday so break in is not the issue, plus the lovesac employee said their couches were fairly new. Does anyone else’s Costco lovesoft sectional feel stiff? Also, do your cushion or pillow tags state the filling is lovesoft?
TLDR: Costco sactional in lovesoft fill feels way stiffer then the couches in the Lovesac store. Cushion and pillows tags don’t say lovesoft.
A Lovesac display/salesperson has popped up in my local warehouse. I have considered buying this couch system in the past but the price point makes it hard to pull the trigger. Has anyone ever bought one from the warehouse? I was in a rush and couldn’t stop, but wondering is it worth going back to check??
Hi! I’m about to pull the trigger on a 6 seat, 8 side. Right now Costco has the best price, $5899 for the couch and it comes with the movie sac, ottoman, cup holders, etc. Lovesac has the same couch BUT I added angled sides, for $6040. No accessories but really, I’m not sure what I’d do with the moviesac; my kids want it but our house is small so it will be huge in their room. I guess my question is, are the angled sides worth it? After tax, etc. the difference is about $300 (if I buy from Costco, I also get my executive membership 2% back and credit card 2% back).
Could someone with a Costco membership get the price please! I'm curious if they really are cheaper. Color doesn't matter, just wanna get a good idea to compare.
