Which "privacy" plants grown in pots for concrete patio
Good plant for privacy from neighbors?
What Would be the Best Plant Options for a Privacy Barrier between my Property and a Three Story Apartment Building (see pics for concepts of planter boxes). I want the plant to continue to grow over the wall (about 6-8 feet) to at least 20 feet off the ground.

I am moving this week into a 2 story condo. There's a patio about 12-18 feet wide and about 10-12 feet deep (not really sure on the specs). There's a glass sliding door and also a large glass window right above it that can be seen from the upper level (loft). The fence is only about 5-6 feet high, and there's a sidewalk right on the other side that goes around the pool or to people's condos etc.
I was wondering what is a good plant/s that will fill up the back fence and also add some privacy. I was looking at bamboo but idk how well that would do in pots. The whole area is concrete so pots are only option.
This is the view from my back deck; if the neighbors are on their deck we can easily talk to each other. While I do like my neighbors, I also like my privacy. I don’t have any other concerns about privacy besides this area.
My solution needs to be 6-8’ wide, and extend about 2’ above the top of the fence (6’ fence). I was thinking of putting 2’ tall lattice on the top of the fence then plant a vining plant at the base of the fence and train it up to fill in the lattice… but that might take a while and I want privacy this summer! Arborvitae would be practical here, but neither my husband or I like the look of it.
Ideally I want a plant that’s an evergreen for privacy in summer as well as winter. But I’m stumped. Not sure what to do… any ideas are welcome! The more the merrier! Please help. lol zone 8B Portland, OR metro area
