I got these from gap in the petite size 25. I’m 5’2 and I’m in love! 😍 I usually only wear high waisted jeans but these were my first ever “low rise” jeans. I wouldn’t say they’re truly low rise..more like mid rise but sits lower on the hip. I was always afraid of low rise jeans because I’m traumatized by the 90s where low rise jeans had like a 1 inch crotch lol. These are nice and baggy (if you’re into that look) .

The answer for me has been getting ones that otherwise fit well and then going to a tailor. It costs me around $25 which isn't nothing but it's cheaper than another pair of jeans. The alteration is fairly straightforward and nearly invisible -- they take in the waist in the back and then hide the seam under a belt loop. I've done it myself before but sewing denim is a pain on a standard sewing machine so I just leave it to a tailor
