Buying from Miele vs Lowe’s
Are accessories included with vacuum cleaners?
Do you offer bagged or bagless vacuum cleaners?
What are the advantages of a stick vacuum over a traditional upright vacuum?
Hi, I'm looking at buying the C1 Miele vacuum. Does anyone know if the warranty is better if I buy directly from Miele? I have some gift cards to Lowe's and it looks like I can order it online, so that would be nice to use but if it means I won't have the Miele warranty then I worry about ordering from Lowe's. I tried to look on Miele's USA website but wasn't seeing anything pertaining to that particular vacuums warranty. Thoughts? Thanks in advance!
Hi, I am looking to get vacuums to share among my dormitory. We have low-pile carpet and many regular users. For some reason we are only allowed to buy from Lowe's. Commercial (reliability) but low maintenance would be best. Don't care much about price. Wanted to get Miele, since they have them, but am learning they are not quite commercial/common sharing grade and might break on us after a couple years. Lowes' site also has:
a bunch of Bissell big greens variants
some Sanitare Traditions (not the HEPA one), which do not look bad
a Sanitare Eon QuietClean
an Oreck XL
"Prolux" variants
and then their Miele stock is the C1: Cat & Dog, Turbo Team, Pure Suction.
As you can see Lowe's does not have Henry, Sebo, Lindhaus, Windsor etc otherwise this would have been over quicker. I also may have missed something good when scrolling through their site. So, what are our thoughts on the best common vacuum from Lowe's for my low pile dorm?
Hey all!
My bf and I just purchased our first home. We have a Samsung Jet stick vacuum that has been great for our 2 bedroom apartment, but even then it dies towards the end of a heavier cleaning session.
We want something that is going to be good with allergens, carpet, and hardwood. Our floor level is all hardwood, but our stairs, upstairs, and finished basement are all medium pile carpet. We have two dogs with plenty of hair (a GSD and pit).
We'd love a Miele but all of the models in our price range either seem to not be the greatest compared to other options, or are not good for both carpet AND hardwood.
We're currently looking at the Shark Navigator Lift Away Pet (UV540) for $199.00 at Lowe's (I'm an employee and get a discount). I know Shark isn't generally well liked here, but it seems this model has decent opinions for the price.
Any advice is appreciated. My bf is a clean freak with a bad back, so we definitely want to find the right vacuum. Good for pets, carpet/hardwood, allergens, and user-friendly under $500-$600 range would be ideal. Bonus points if its available through Lowe's.
Thank you!
