Hello,
I’ve owned the Circadian Optics Lumos 2.0 10000 LUX Light Therapy Lamp (first available in 2016 on Amazon AFAIK). At first, I was naturally skeptical since it was a shark tank item (see fry wall, overpriced and not as effective as a silicone splatter guard), but the price enticed me to buy it.
I have owned it for about 8-9 months. Initially, I used it for about 10 days and it had next to no effect on me, so I stopped using it. At the time, I was going to bed at 4 AM and when I woke up there would often be no sun.

Another product that seems to be more reputable is the Alaskan Northern Lights 10000 LUX North Star. It has good reviews and has sold over 100k units. I think it’s been out for over 23 years, but their site doesn’t give a release date. One reviewer on Amazon has claimed that it has changed their life completely.

So, what do you think? Is it all just clever marketing? Or do the superior, medical-grade materials and larger surface area make the North Star worth investing in? My circadian rhythm is extremely out of whack right now: I’ve been going to bed at around 3:30 PM for the past week (wake up around midnight, stay up the next day). I have been prescribed medication, but it’s been on hold for like two weeks and I’m still fighting with my insurance company to get it covered.
