You can try shutting the Mac down first, and then holding the power button until you’re brought to “Startup Options.” Once there, click on “Options” and you should start booting into macOS recovery. If you are lucky, you don’t need a password to get into recovery. Once in recovery, up towards the Menu Bar, click on Utilities > Terminal to open a terminal window. In the terminal window, type “resetpassword” and hit enter. You should then be presented a new screen that walks you through setting a new password. More on reddit.com

Hey!
So I have a MacBook Pro 2015 and somehow I have forgotten my password.
The thing is, it was linked to my Time Machine and that had a file of photos I would LOVE to get!
Tried the Apple ID way to reset but is coming up with an network error.
Any advise or help would be great!
