An anime television series adaptation produced by Kinema Citrus, aired from July to September 2017. A sequel film, subtitled Dawn of the Deep Soul, premiered in Japan in January 2020. A second season, subtitled The Golden City of the Scorching Sun, aired from July to September 2022.

In the US it's on HiDive. Amazon has season 1, but also made some kind of subscription deal with HiDive that CR simply missed out on.

It's not on Crunchyroll at all - in any region as far as I know. It is on HiDive, wherever that is available. I have no idea about Amazon.

I started thinking about Made in Abyss again and was checking to see if there have been any announcements on a season 3. According to Otakukart, season 3 "is finally set to return with a new installment in 2025, promising another journey into the depths of the Abyss." They do not provide a source to validate these claims, so I wanted to know if anyone can confirm or deny their assertions.

Season 3 was green-lit cause Season 2 was successful enough. That article is clickbait though since we're still in the arc after Season 2 ended. So all that can be said is, be patient, and read the manga. And if you can, buy physical media to "show" the studio/executives that the series has promise by voting with your wallet.
