So is 'Journey's Dawn' and 'Wandering Twilight' just movies of Season 1? And is 'The Golden City of the Scorching Sun' Season 2?

I'm so confused. I watched season one on my own. Then watched it again in a film format with my partner. I've just found out via gigguk that there is a season 2 and other programming.
Can anyone tell me what we need to o watch before season 2 please?
I recently started made in abyss, and im a bit confused. I've finished season one, and from a bit researching, I have to watch the movie about nanachi's past then season 2. Are the other two movies relevant to the story? IF so, in what order do I watch all of this?
I intend to read the manga after watching everything in the anime as well, if the manga is still in works, I would also like to know at what chapter I start on after finishing everything
Made In Abyss, Season 1 Made In Abyss, Dawn Of A Deep Soul Made In Abyss, Season 2
The other two movies (journeys dawn and wandering twilight) arenโt that important
I just finished season 1 and I really loved it. I was just wondering if I should watch the movies next or season 2?
I just finished the first season what comes after chronologically? is it the first movie or the 2nd season?
So I just finished s1 today and man I regret not watching this sooner. Should I watch the 3 movies first before watching s2? Thanks!
I recently watched season 1 and 2. And now I've found out that there are couple of movies. Was I supposed to watch them between season 1 and 2?
I know it goes from season 1, dawn of deep soul, the prushka mini special (feel like you could watch this before the movie too but idk), then season 2, but i have no idea what comes after, there are 2 other movies but after trying to research it, seems like those other movies are just film versions of season 1/2.
Thanks!
(P.s. Where would season 2 end off in the manga?)
So I just finished the 1st season of Made in the Abyss based on a post from the other day it caught my eye, but nothing I saw was based on the comments people said, so my question is there is 2 movies that follow. Journeys Dawn and Wandering Twilight and then Dawn of the Deep Soul.
So are the movies different than the series, or is it just a recap like some animes do?
and the post in question was what anime did you recommend to someone who had a scene that you completely forgot about or was the 1 scene in the anime that showed oppai and your mom walked in and saw it etc Made in the Abyss was always mentioned in the top comments.
I want to watch this anime, can anyone help me on which order I should watch it?
I got into the anime after randomly seeing a clip on youtube, and I blew through season 1 within a few days. Do I need to watch Dawn of the Deep Soul? Or can I just continue on to season 2? I only ask because i know the 2 other movies are just recap, so if deep soul is just a recap as well, then I dont mind skipping it. Thanks for your help!
Forgive me if this is posted somewhere, I'm trying to avoid spoilers so I haven't done full research on how I should watch.
I am on episode 6 of S1. I understand that there is a sequel movie, and 2 recap movies. What is the Sequel movie called? And is it after S1 before S2, or after S2?
Also, I don't believe all the episodes of S2 are on Amazon Prime(if any). Where else can I watch it?
hey im wondering if this is the correct order i should be watching the anime in thanks a ton!

the anime 13 episodes
-
-
2) journeys dawn
-
3) wanderings twilight
-
4) dawn of the deep soul
you donโt need to watch the first and second movie as they are just recaps of the anime , watch anime 13 episodes movie 3 dawn of the deep soul read manga
Watch the anime... and get waiting. Consider reading the Manga if you want more, because that's all we have
The first and second movies are just remixes from the anime, where some stuff has been cut to fit a movie, so don't bother
Dawn of the Deep Soul does continue the story, but the movie was supposed to air when the whole COVID shitshow started, so... yeah. The official Blu-Ray is not getting released until this fall
Since you seem to be new to the world of anime, it's an ancient Japanese tradition to re-release anime series as movies, to make a quick buck during the off-season.
Also, distribution of anime movies outside of Japan is absolutely fucked
What is the order I should watch the moves after finishing the series.
