Got a corded festool sander right now. It uses the standard 133x80 pads.
Dust extraction and vibration dampening is pretty damn good with it, however i dislike the ergonomics and its weight a lot.
Should I try, say the BO005? How is the dust extraction?

If you are tied to a vacuum, what is the point in going cordless is what I always wonder. Thats my stance on cordless sanders in general. So investing in 40v for sanders? Nah. if you already have 40v tools, and want a cordless sander. Why not.

Very hard call. I love Makita, but the best sander hands down is the Mirka orbital with the net paper. Once you use one, you'll never bother with another hand held sander. That said, it's not cordless.

This particular sander is what is called a 5 inch which simply means 5 inches in diameter. There are on the market both 5 inches and 6-inch sanders are corded versions, but I have yet to see one (at this writing) in 6 inches.
