Here's an adapter I made (remixed) that will allow you to connect Makita's 18v random orbit sander to their 18v dust extractor. You can download the STL file from Thingiverse. You can also download the Fusion 360 file if you want to adjust for another tool / vacuum.

This connection is ridiculous to find, here in Canada at least. Why it isn’t included with the sander is also ridiculous. I made one a few week back with one for these: https://www.busybeetools.com/products/adapter-for-dc-1in-to-4in-improved.html Good on you to make this available to those that can 3d print.
