Go to iforgot.apple.com and enter your Apple ID and hit continue. Next, enter your old number that it gives you the last two digits of on the screen. It will say it sent a verification code to that number. At the bottom in blue hit don’t have access to devices.

It's the Recovery Key. So you can see it here. It's turned Off. I can click here for Manage and I can turn it On. Now here's the thing about a Recovery Key. Once you turn on Recovery Key you can't use the other methods to recover your account. Apple can't help you.
