It looks like the Mason Athletic-Fit Chino that BR used to carry has been discontinued, which is unfortunate because they were near-perfect for me.
Is the Athletic Rapid Movement Chino the same thing? The website seems to be directing me that way, but I'm not sure they are the same. The price point is slightly different (the Mason was $125 and the Rapid Movement is $100).
Anyone know?
I am starting my first office job soon. Looking to pick up a few pairs of slim fitting chinos/casual pants with material that won't fade after a few washes. Recently moved on from skinny jeans & started wearing athletic fit. Larger thighs + butt, so the fit usually works better than slim.
6ft, 175-180 Between skinny and sorta muscular build
Inseam: 34
Comparative Waist Sizes: Levi 510's - 33 Levi 541's - 32 Many other slim/athletic fits - 34
I've worn so many pants with elastane the past ten years. I'm really trying to find something that's not going to leech onto my entire lower half after the 2nd wash.
Not trying to go toooo professional. It's a dev position and dress code is fairly lax. I have a decent walk from the parking lot or going out to lunch, so comfort (especially in the upper regions) is key.
Looking at Dickies Slim Fit Tapered (non stretch), Uniqulo Chinos. Tried some Dockers Athletic fits and they were pretty on point.
I appreciate any recommendations you all might have!
