The last season will consist of 20 episodes and airs Thursdays at 8:00 PM; however, in March, the dark fantasy series moves to Mondays at 8:00 PM. The finale episode is scheduled to air on May 18, 2020. It’s been an exciting few months for Cohen, who joined Entertainment Tonight late last year as a correspondent.

if they ever did a spinoff that took place during the early days, when Sam and Dean were kids--perhaps a Bobby origin story as mentioned here before, or perhaps just a story exploring their childhood more--they should unironically have Matt Cohen play John Winchester again. He is now about as old in real life as Jeffery Dean Morgan was when Supernatural started. It would actually work, age-wise.

As much as I loved Jensen’s version of alternate Michael last season, I think people really overlook Michaels first real appearance on the show in season 5 when he possessed young John. Props to Matt Cohen because he was incredible in that scene. He brought the strength and self assurance of Michael perfectly but also seemed calm, reasonable, and even a little manipulative. Seriously if you haven’t seen that scene in awhile, rewatch it, he was fantastic

They were both good, but I prefer Matt Cohen's Michael. Maniacal, moustache-twirling villains who want to burn down the world are a dime a dozen on Supernatural. OG Michael's quiet, confident zealotry was unique. He was selfless, righteous and honorable while also being the antagonist.

Matt Cohen has stated he loves to play Michael again. I hope he does. He could play a new character on the show, and Michael takes him as a vessel.
