What are the less common mattress sizes?
Three-quarter, Olympic Queen, and waterbeds fall into this category.
What’s the most popular mattress size?
Queen, since some bedrooms cannot accommodate a king size.
Will standard sheets fit a 3/4 mattress?
I live in a tiny apartment with a roommate so a lot of my work stuff occupies my bedroom. I have recently been feeling more suffocated than usual and I’m trying to replace all my current furniture with smaller variants and that includes my bed. After hours of searching, I finally discovered that RV mattresses exist and is exactly what I’m looking for - smaller width wise but not shorter yet still larger than a twin. I am a single sleeper but I just can’t imagine going back to a twin bed, for many reasons.
Could anyone help me find a decent mattress that is 3/4? Preferably under the $600 mark as I’m not sure how many years I’ll be keeping it. Although I found that they do infact exist, it’s been incredibly hard finding anything about them like brands, reviews, etc.
I do prefer either a memory foam bed or something hybrid but I can always buy padding if it cuts cost.
Edit: in the US btw!
