What are people using to farm nether stars in this pack? aka wither farms how are they being set up?

I know I can use mystical agriculture but it requires a bunch of nether stars to even get started with it, so I would like to know what ideas people have for automating a wither farm to get nether stars.

Any ideas as to why the wither just regens at a pace quicker then I can damage him? Is it because I haven't entered expert mode as I gathered wither skeleton skull fragments from dungeon and soul sand from them too to spawn it in

Any utilities that 1 shot withers? I'm used to the DE mob grinder. The amount of stars needed for that psychopath thaum armor seems exhausting so I've been putting it off.

I’m genuinely about to lose my mind. How do you kill this guy?

He keeps running off halfway in the fight to the other side of the map and randomly regains a large chunk of hp. Not to mention all my tinkers bow barely tickle him.

I can get some damage dog fighting him in a gilder using teleport spells. But in his second phase I can’t get close and in the air your a sitting duck for his one shot laser.

Genuinely love playing this mod pack but good lord the bosses feel so un-fun. And are becoming an annoying chore.

my mob duplicator of powered spawner won't spawn wither skeleton help?!

I finally progressed enough that I needed to get wither stars and went to go spawn the wither. I have quite a nice mystical agriculture farm going so I was able to build a large amount of Reinforced obsidian and made a room to spawn the wither in with tiny holes for me to attack from.

The first room I made was not big enough and I assumed that was why the first wither I spawned was "vaporized". So I looked up how big the room needed to be at minimum and built one a little bigger. The Wither still died immediately and with no player drops. Finally I got crazy and built a 14x14 box to spawn the Wither in but had the same issue.

So now having wasted 15 Wither skulls I went to go spawn the Wither somewhere in the world.

I flew a little ways away from my base and built the Wither shape and nothing happened. I moved further from my base and still nothing. Finally I made a reinforced obsidian floor because I knew it spawned there and it worked.

So 18 skulls later I have my first nether star.

I was hoping to make a Reinforced obsidian cage to make a wither farm in for automatic nether stars but if that cage is going to vaporize the wither I am unsure what to do.

Has this happened to anyone else? Has anyone else made a wither farm?

at the beggining i want to make a point that i am rather new player to modded minecraft so my question may be irrelevant.

I Play McEternal, and as far as i enjoy it, i have some trouble with it. I want to summon wither, and i am looking basicaally whole day for wither skeletons today. I found nether fortress. And i spent there 2+ hours, and i met only 3 wither skeletons, they did not drop skulls, only wither skulls fragments.... I made basic mob farm with drop of evil, but it seems that wheter skelletons are not spawning inside. So guys I am asking you, if there is some easy way to get those skulls?
