May 18, 2023 - I know the internal tanks are Hydrogen on the left and Oxygen on the right, but that's not always where I want my tanks. If I put my tank on the right and try to have it output hydrogen into that tank, it sits there forever and does nothing and the pressurized tubes always say empty.

So I've made a setup which pumps normal water into an electrolytic seperator but hydrogen gas isn't being generated, it just says empty, I have heaps of oxygen but no hydrogen at all. What can I do to fix this?

Are you accidentally venting all the hydrogen? Do you have the correct piping hooked up to the correct side? The electrolytic separator also wont make anything if one side is full so make sure you either have the oxygen going somewhere or that you are venting excess oxygen.

If your oxygen is full it will stop the machine, empty the oxygen out and see if it generates both? Other than that not a clue

I've got a sink going into an Electrolytic Separator using basic mechanical pipes. The Separator generate Oxygen and Hydrogen. The hydrogen goes into a gas burning generator using basic pressured tubes. The oxygen refuse to go into a purification chamber using basic pressured tubes.
Anybody knows why ?
The issue is "Not enough room in output" but I don't understand why

You can add upgrades, make sure to look wich ones can get the gas upgrade as well. But i got 2 of these fully upgraded running for this process.

Mekanism has upgrades which increase the operation speed and decreases the power consumption of its machines, among other things You should also set the hydrogen to dumb excess so it keeps making more oxygen instead of pausing when the internal inventory is full

The config says D:ElectrolyticSeparatorUsage=65.0 (that's in Joules) but I think this value is ignored in Mekanism 6.1 and instead uses "hydrogen energy density" or something along those lines.

My Advanced Factory set to purify can't keep up. Should I build more Electrolytic Separators or is the issue that the pressurized tubes can't hold all the oxygen flowing through? (I have 2 electrolytic separators currently).

3 Separators barely yields enough Oxygen to keep a net gain while running a single Basic Purifying Factory with max upgrades. At least from my experience.

Are you venting or using all the hydrogen? If the hydrogen tank is full oxygen production stops. If you are already venting the hydrogen try adding another separator or two to the same oxygen line, the pressurized tube can handle plenty. You can also add some tanks between the separators and purifier to store extra gas when you're not processing. Also, I recommend the elite factory. I don't know if it's more efficient than advanced but I know it uses less gas per process than a basic factory. Lastly, make sure you set the factory to auto sort so it uses all its processing slots.
