Alloys are components added by Mekanism, used for many machines and items. There are three tiers of alloys, being Infused, Reinforced, and Atomic. Different recipes require different alloy tiers. Each tier is created using a material and the previous tier. Infused Alloy is the lowest tier of alloy.

Mekanism Tools is an addon for Mekanism which adds tools, armor, and shields for various materials, including Bronze, Lapis Lazuli, Osmium, Refined Glowstone, and Refined Obsidian. There is also a new type of tool, the paxel, which is a multitool of the pickaxe, axe, and shovel.

Mekanism Generators is an addon for Mekanism, which is mostly required to play the mod. It adds numerous generators which produce energy, including solar panels, heat generators, and more.

The Crusher requires energy to operate, which can be supplied by placing a generator or energy storage next to it, or through cables (shown in picture 1). In addition to the machines from Mekanism, the generators, energy storages and cables of all supported power systems (IndustrialCraft 2, Thermal Dynamics, BuildCraft and Tesla) can be used to supply it.

The Metallurgic Infuser is a machine added by Mekanism. It is one of the first machines the player will make, and is used in the production of steel, alloys, and more. It also has a factory version, the Infusing Factory.
