I think your pack has industrial foregoings. If so, check out the laser in it. Think you'll need a white lens but will convert energy into ores and other things. I set up an array of them the other day (all lens colours) and I can't process everything fast enough. Best bit is, it generates ores instead of mining them so you don't need to move the set up around after wards. One of direwolf's videos explains things pretty well.

Fluorite has been made into a geode in E9, I believe. One of the quests (check Mekanism section) might say this and give you an idea of what y-level to look at to find it. As far as automating it, I think Ars's golem will harvest the shards like it does for vanilla amethyst. More on reddit.com

The amount of fluorite I am finding is abysmally small, and I need a ton of it for the next step in Mekanism. I have a digital miner butbit doesn't seem to find any. After looking around online I see that it's really only able to spawn near oceans, am I forced to set up a miner in an ocean biome to get the amount I need? The nearest ocean is about 2000 blocks away from my base so it's a bit of a pain, but if need be I guess I can set up a waystone. Any help making this easier would be much appreciated, I searched for 4 hours yesterday and only came up with about 10 ore.

Grab a few and make seeds out of it from mystical agriculture.

Hey just found this thread. I am on ATM 9 and having this same issue. I guess u/Elfinslayer is right. Looks like Mystical comes in for the win.....yet again.

I’m trying to make a Mekanism fission reactor, but I’m running into a problem with my fissile fuel production. I can’t figure out how to automate fluorite collection. I can’t even find fluorite at all in fact. Am I missing something?

I know its been 4 months, but if you find a Fluorite cluster, get some of the budding fluorite blocks. It will turn into a normal block after. Then you can use the Botanist Pickaxe from Natures Aura to make them back into Budding Fluorite, to produce more fluorite crystals together with the Applied Energistics 2 growth accelerators. This way you can have unlimited Fluorite forever. Also this can be done with the Sulfur cluster blocks aswell. I know it's been a while since you asked this question, but if it cannot help you i hope that this can help someone else looking for an answer!

I have a 1.16.1 skyblock world with Mekanism and Botania (plus a bunch of other mods). My only source of ores is an Orechid from Botania. However, Orechids won't generate fluorite ore, which I need for Mekanism's late game. Is there a mod/datapack/config option/something I can use to make Orechids generate fluorite ore?

First off haven't got into this mod yet, but how much of this stuff does one need when playing this mod.

Fluorite is absolutely everywhere in my caves at all lvls seemingly. Should I be scooping it all up? Fuckin hell I'm gonna need a backpack just for this one "ore"

I'd keep it. It's mostly used for fissile fuel for the fission reactor and polonium pellets for some late game stuff. If you want to get into a fusion reactor or a meka suit then you'll need quite a bit of it. If you don't care about any of the late game Mekanism stuff then you're pretty safe to trash most of it.

No scooping, get a miner. Also start 2×, 3×, 4× 5× ore processing, too, ASAP.

I've been trying to find Fluorite so I can use it for Mekanism Reactors, but through all the caves I have scoured through, there seems to be absolutely no fluorite. I've been searching for 30 minutes and I didn't find a single ore. Is there any specific biome I'm supposed to find it in or am I just blind?

Make sure you’re in new chunks (never been loaded before), I don’t believe it needs to be a specific biome. If that doesn’t work, try the Digital Miner

I've gone through the same problem. Try to get far enough, into new chunks, but, if it doesn't work, you can get some with the ore laser base, from Industrial Foregoing! Give it a shot!

I may be being stupid but I need fluorite to craft the chemical crystallizer (mekanism).

I've searched undergound for about 3 hours and I cant find any. Ive seen that people have suggested going to new chucks but I only started this save 3 days ago (ATM9 0.2.44), I tried it anyway, no luck.

I dont have any of it so I cant make Mystical seeds or anything like that.

Any help would be much appreciated. This is really annoying me.

Didn't remember, how I get my first fluorite to make bees, so decided start again. And it works. Make builder, clearing quarry card and filter module. In fm search "forge_ores: fluorite" (or smth like this). Install fm into builder. Set card properties (for me works 64, 60, 64 + offset -120. Get some power. Done! I get 1k flourite, while typing this.
