Hi all, As mekanism got rid of the way to make hydrogen through the electric pump and electrolytic separator. I was wondering how I was supposed to get hydrogen for hydrogen chloride. It's a custom modpack on a server with Mekanism, Ad astra, Chemlib, Electrodynamics, some of the thermal mods. if i'm missing something please let me know as I can't find an answer online. Does burning the hydrogen I get from using an electrolytic separator in a gas-burning generator give me more power than it takes to produce the hydrogen in the first place? Or should I be using ethylene?
I know it wouldn't work in real life, but this is Minecraft where you can get power indefinitely from lava that never loses it's temperature. Also the water I'm using to get hydrogen in the first place is infinite.
My System is producing no power, an electrolytic separator attached to 3 gas-burning generators, the system appears to just sustain enough power to perform, but when I attach an energy cube it drains the buffer from the separator and then the systems blacks out.

Hi guys, I'm getting into this world of machines and I'm doing my first energy farm using bio fuel and I'm having problems (I'll probably have more and I'll ask for more help). Well I can't pass the hydrogen from one machine to another, could you please help me??
here is an imageAs we everybody knows mekanism remove recipe for making hydrogen from water in electolytic separator it doesnt take water anymore only heavy water and it make deuterium and oxygen so i can make oxygen okay but i rly dont know how to make hydrogen also why they remove this recipe ? im rly tilted becouse i like this mod for a looong time and this is sad and also making me angry can you somebody tell me how to get hydrogen by a different way or what to do becouse without hydrogen i cant make so much things . Im playing minecraft modded server 1.20.1 mekanism version is 10.4.5.
is there a way to make tech reborn, nuclear craft and extra cells 2 hydrogen interchangeable? needing 3 different machines that are all electrolizers separating water into oxygen and hydrogen seems kinda redundant.
I haven't played galacticraft in a long time but I'm new to mekanism. I remember how involved it was to get the meteoric iron to make hydrogen to make fuel, which is what I want. Using the simple, earlier mekanism electrolytic separator sounds much easier, if not overpowered. Does anyone know whether that works?.
Good day every. I hope that someone can help me. I use Mekanism for ore processing and my machines have been upgraded to the highs tier. My Hydrogen Chloride in my Injecting Factory & Oxygen in Purifying Factory cant keep up and keep running empty.
Is there a way to produce more and faster Hydrogen Chloride & Oxygen.
my purification machine won't work when there's too much hydrogren. I don't wanna keep making gas cans to make it call go away. Where can I put it?

I'm running a t3 ore processing chain and outputting some of the hydrogen to a gas-burning generator. I have that electrolytic separator upgraded 8/8 with speed and energy. It's supplying the gas-burning generator with enough hydrogen to produce 640rf/t (burn rate of 8).
But it takes the electrolytic separator 640rf/t to create that much hydrogen.
Is the wiki out-dated? was hydrogen nerfed in v9? I found some older documentation talking about how the dev was planning to use hydrogen as more of a intermediate step in energy production (for ethylene) and storage (batteries). If that's the way they went, cool, just curious if I'm doing something wrong here... if I was using an electric pump to get the water (instead of an EnderIO reservoir) then I'd be energy negative.
I don't really have any use for it since I'm relying on wind and solar for energy and I don't know what else to use it for other than that. Is there a way I can get rid of hydrogen without filling up a tank and then throwing said tank in lava repeatedly?
I'm playing enigmatica 2 expert, just getting into mekanism to triple more ores. I was wondering if there are other ways to store hydrogen then just using the gas tanks that mekanism provides.
I'm after the oxygen for ore tripling, and the hydrogen is produced several times faster. I was looking for bulk gas storage, and an option to void the rest? Thanks.
You pretty much just have ultimate gas tank for that. Another option is converting to fluid and moving it around and storing that way. I eventually set up 2 separators, 1 voids overflow of hydrogen, other voids overflow of oxygen.
Mekanism has dynamic tanks that function in a similar way to the old Railcraft tanks. I don't remember the maximum size but they can be huge.
Another option is to use a rotary condensentrator to turn it into liquid hydrogen, which takes up less space in any given container. The downside is you will probably have to use another condensentrator to expand it again in order to use it.
I'm trying to set up a purification factory for our ore processing setup and I've built the elite tier upgraded version. The problem is it burns through so much oxygen. I've got 9 electrolytic separators going and it's still not enough. Is there any easier way to get mass amounts of the stuff?
So I've made a setup which pumps normal water into an electrolytic seperator but hydrogen gas isn't being generated, it just says empty, I have heaps of oxygen but no hydrogen at all. What can I do to fix this?
Literally every tutorial in the web it's outdated with the latest version, even its own wiki, All I wann do is how to use the electrolytic separator to get hydrogen and fuel jetpacks :(
Well first you pump water and power to it then it should produce oxygen and hydrogen then there’s 2 things you can do 1. There should be a button to press to dump excess do that for oxygen if you don’t plan on storing it 2. Do step one but add gas tubes to take the oxygen and put it into a gas tank when when the gas tank fills up the excess should be auto deleted so it’s constantly on (as long as it has water and power) next hydrogen put a gas tube to gas tank on the hydrogen side and it should fill it up the put your jet pack there or pump it to a charging station forget which one
One important thing is that the electrolytic separator is sided. Left gas in the GUI go out from the left side of the machine and gas on the right goes out from the right of the machine
