If you find that your power needs become more demanding, you can try connecting a few more Heat Generators, some Solar Generators (or its much more expensive and efficient version, the Advanced Solar Generator), Wind Turbines (make sure that they are placed at high altitudes for maximum power), or other various generators that Mekanism has to offer. Remember that Mekanism machines can accept most forms of power from other mods (such as RF or MJ) as well as its own (Joules), so feel free to add other sources of power to your Mekanism power network.

Quick guide on how to start and progress through Mekanism? (TPPI)
Start with a heat generator and metallurgic infuser. Just use coal or lava buckets in the generator. You don't need any cables yet, just set them next to each other. Use those to make the enrichment chamber. (2x ore processing) You can make an energized smelter or just keep using furnaces for now. Next, I would make a wind turbine, energy cell, and some universal cable. Make the smelter now if you didn't already. Hook it all up in a line. (Throw away the heat generator, don't waste time trying to surround it with lava for tiny amounts of power) Next, if you want more power, make electric pump (or TE aqua accumulator/ender io resevoir).. hydro gen.. and electrolytic separator. This is massive power. Like mid to almost late game. If the wind turbine or 2 is enough, move on to Crusher, and Purification Chamber. (3x ore processing). Also make an Osmium Compressor for the next set of machines and tools. Now, you have everything you need for the Digital Miner. Just need 11 diamonds. After that.. Make everything. You have plenty of materials. :D Robit, Atomic Disassembler, and all the Obsidian gear/tools you can afford are all worth it. Obsidian tools are super good and super enchantable. I've gotten stuff like Efficiency III, Unbreaking III, Fortune IV on level 15 enchant on the Obsidian Paxel. Ridiculous. (Oh.. and Jetpack. It's slow, but mekanism jetpack to fly up, then hang glider while holding shift is the best flight there is!) You could make all of this before the Digital Miner.. but making the miner first gives you all the materials you need to make this stuff and all the other things. More on reddit.com

There's already a decent Wiki on the mod developer Aidan's site - here is a link to the ore processing page . You should be able to search what you need in the Wiki. Here's the Fission Reactor page. Here's the MekaSuit page. Does the pack you are playing have JEI (Just Enough Items)? If not, add it to your pack. Just looking up recipes in JEI should get you most of the way there. September 14, 2022How does Mekanism ore doubling work?
The simplest doubling method runs raw ore through an Enrichment Chamber to produce Enriched Ore, which is then smelted in the Energized Smelter to produce two ingots instead of one. Adding a Purification Chamber, Crusher, and additional Enrichment Chamber in sequence produces three ingots per ore. The full four-step chain with a Chemical Dissolution Chamber and Chemical Washer produces four ingots per ore. Build the chain in stages and test each step before adding more complexity.

What is the Metallurgic Infuser used for?
The Metallurgic Infuser is used to make all four tiers of Alloys (Infused, Reinforced, Atomic), all four tiers of Control Circuits, Steel through enriched iron and carbon, and many other specialized materials. The yellow slot holds the infusion catalyst (Redstone, Diamond Dust, Carbon, etc.) and the main slot holds the item being infused. It is the single most important machine in Mekanism and is involved in nearly every recipe chain.

How do I make the Digital Miner?
The Digital Miner requires a Robit (made from Atomic Alloy and Refined Obsidian), a Teleportation Core (an advanced crafted component), a Logistical Sorter, Atomic Alloys, a Basic Control Circuit, and a Steel Casing. All of these require the full alloy progression to be complete, making the Digital Miner a mid-to-late game goal. Focus on reaching Atomic Alloy production first, then gather the remaining components.
