I'm playing FTB Beyond an I've built a biogass power set up but now I want to build some mekanism blocks that need power. I can't connet Ic2 to Mekanism and I can find no way of transferring power between them. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Hey so i logged in after updating my Enigmatica 2 pack and i noticed that my mekanism power cables were not connected to my IC2 machines anymore. Has this happened to anyone else?
I went into the Mekanism configs to see if it was blacklisted and it wasn't, current version is 1.54 that i have installed.

Someone posted a couple-few weeks ago that Mekanism was dropping support for IC2. I recall a joke about changing the name of the Universal Cables. I can't find a Mekanism changelog to confirm after about 2 seconds of googling, though.

My E2E pack updated yesterday. I have a mekanism powerbank + universalcables running over my IC2 stuff. At first it didnt work but after breaking capacitor and cables it worked again. If they dropped support they did a bad job :D

Yeah there was a small powerloss and still is in Classic IC2. But it counted only if it was bigger than 1.0. if it was only 0.9999 it did not count so you were able to jump over the powerloss with efficent cables ... I've been playing around with Mekanism and IC2 Classic, and the universal cables don't seem to be powering IC2 machines with EU despite connecting to them. They power Thermal RF machines just fine, and obviously Mekanism's own devices.
I've tried configurating the cables into push and pull modes on the output end, and I've even tried placing secondary devices that accept RF.
Power Converters works, but maximizing output can be kind of bulky this way (plus, it seems like the version of the mod installed in the 1.7.10 pack I'm playing seems to output more EU than intended from conversion, which is kind of broken in both a good and bad way).
Again, this is IC2 Classic, not Experimental.

Idk how help bcs i dont play IC2, but is probabily some kind of incompatibility with the mods. Maybe if you try to use IC2 cables it work, idk

Honestly no idea, but RF is so unbalanced that I personally think splitting power types and maybe allow EU->RF conversion. That being said, IC2 Classic in 1.7.10 has RF->EU converters that are lost in any other mc version. Flux Generators for EU -> RF conversion. Electric Flux Generator for RF -> EU conversion IIRC But there is something in said mc version. Oh yeah IC2C dev here.

August 25, 2014 - There's only one glaring downside that I can think of (using 1.7.10 versions of Mekanism). Universal Cables no longer interface with IC2 generators. You can send power however, you can no longer receive power.

Hi i have an issue where the normal generator and the geothermal generator wont power the mekanism cables and the Sequential Fabricator (thermal expansion) connected to that. Everywhere on the internet i read that this should be doable but for some reason for me it doenst.
