Melania Trump is the subject of an upcoming political documentary titled Melania, directed by Brett Ratner and released by Amazon MGM Studios. The film offers unprecedented access to the 20 days leading up to Donald Trump's second presidential inauguration on January 20, 2025, capturing Melania as she prepares for her return to the White House.
The documentary is set to premiere at the Trump Kennedy Center and will be released exclusively in theaters worldwide on January 30, 2026. It will later stream on Amazon Prime Video, following a reported $40 million licensing deal—the largest in documentary history. A three-part docuseries will also follow, expanding on her life across New York, Washington D.C., and Palm Beach.
Melania Trump served as an executive producer through her production company, Muse Films, and was deeply involved in every aspect of the film, from creative vision to marketing. The film, which runs for 104 minutes, is described as a cinematic, "elevated" portrayal rather than a traditional documentary.
The official trailer, released in December 2025, features Melania saying, “Here we go again,” and includes behind-the-scenes moments with Donald Trump, Barron Trump, and private planning sessions. It has sparked mixed reactions online, with strong support from fans and criticism from some skeptics questioning its scope and budget.
