How long have you used the new topper? A polyurethane foam mattress topper is much like a mattress itself in that it is going to have a break in period. So how it feels when its brand new is going to be very different from how it feels after a months use, as memory foam does soften up quite a bit with useage. If its the case that you have already broken in your new topper, for quality memory foam toppers that are soft you could check out the ViscoMax topper from foam factory.
