I’m done wearing jeans on flights- I want to buy a pair of sweatpants/joggers for ~$150 for travel. These are my criteria:
~34ish inseam. This is the hardest thing for me to find, all of the sweatpants I see on here seem to be a 30 inseam which is a dealbreaker for me.
Significant taper- I’m tall but with very thin legs, and I would really prefer not to be swimming in them
Merino would be great, but anything that can be worn 4-5x without getting… swampy is ideal
Zipper pockets, or at least ones that don’t let things fall out of them too easily
Would really appreciate your guys’ help. Thanks everyone.

I want to go Left-field a bit and give you a different suggestion. Pre-covid I’d fly a lot and know where you are coming from with jeans. Chinos/khakis were slight more comfortable, but still not quite there. Then I discovered cycling trousers (and at the same time climbing trousers). These can look like jeans/chinos, with fitted legs and taper but have added stretch panels around the waist, crotch and knees. They have extra deep pockets so that things don’t fall out of your pockets when cycling. My go to brand is Kuhl https://www.kuhl.com They are available in several parts of the world; I’m UK based but since you mentioned $ and are talking in English I’ll assume you are USA based. They have stockists there.
