Second love Tennyson on 41st and Tennyson has a decent selection and there's another one around the corner - clothes horse that is good though not sure about the formal section.

Ever since buff exchange closed down I find it's been harder to get good looking/fitting men's clothes. Thrifting is hit or miss as it is, but would generally find something quality at buff exchange or my local thrift store peak thrift that also recently shut down.

Any recommendations for where to go? Places I know of are:

ARC

Goodwill

Goldmine vintage (fairly pricey)

FERAL (athletic wear) - tennyson

Deja Blue in Cherry Creek

Show Pony by DU and the Digging Pit

Snag Denver

Crossroads

Strawberry Mountain on Santa Fe

Plato's closet (limited selection in my experience)

Deja Blue in Cherry Creek gets some of the nicer Goodwill stuff. The men's offerings aren't as plentiful as the women's, but they still have some good stuff.

In the old Buffalo Exchange on Broadway, there is a new joint called Scout Dry Goods and Trade that is doing buying/selling/consignment clothing. I haven't popped in yet but it looks like it might bee what you are looking for.

The quality of mens clothing varies wildly between goodwill locations. I go often, and to several locations. The intention is to be there after that big donation from the right person.

I have a lot of men's clothes that are still in great condition I would like to try to sell to a consignment store. Wanted to hear some stories on if there are any businesses that are worth visiting over others. The only place I'm not too keen on is turnstyle because they require all of their clothes to be on hangers (I have 50+ tops so this isn't ideal) otherwise I'm open to any suggestions. Thanks in advance and happy new years!

I tried it a while ago. Plato’s closet and I can’t remember the other one I tried. All name brand, great condition, and the amount they wanted to pay me wasn’t worth it. I decided to donate directly to people in need.

2nd street , common threads. I’ve never tried to consign or sell to them, so I don’t know their policies, etc.. Strawberry Mountain is a buy from you , not a consignment store. They’re not gonna give you a lot for your clothing, but it’s better than nothing. And you can only take 30 things at a time, one appointment a week. And it’s unlikely that your clothes would’ve even been bought Turnstyle because nobody knows it exists let alone shop there. It’s poorly managed and is basically un shopable. The only good thing about it is you might get some cash and then the rest of it is donated. Edit: but they do give your hangers back. You can only take 35 items at a time. But you can go every day they don’t have appointments
