First, I am so impressed by the quality and look of everything on Meshki. It was my first time purchasing from them and- wow. What a dream! I feel in love with this dress the second I saw it online. last night i asked about this dress for my friend’s summer formal wedding and i got a lot of comments about the back of the dress and the colour. i know some people advise against this but i did end up sending some pics of me in the dress to her in multiple different lightings, including ones where the dress is a lot more reflective, and i ended up getting her approval! she loved the design and the colour. i guess this goes to show that knowing your crowd is important and i wont be taking a big risk like this again haha
other people also said that the dress looks ill fitting on this model and i will be constantly adjusting. when the dress came in i did feel like it was a bit loose so i had the waist and the shoulders taken in. it sits more snug on me now and does not have that “falling off” look in my opinion.
ty for all the feedback! i know my taste in dresses seems to not be aligned with this sub but it made me realize i should double check with the bride, and i feel relieved after doing so :)

I liked this dress when you first posted, and I'm glad you got the approval to wear it. I hope you'll enjoy the wedding!:) It's a good reminder, that if you guys know the person who's getting married, and you are unsure of your outfit, its probably easier to just get their opinion, rather than on here.
