Which brand has the largest assortment of Grinding Wheels & Cut-Off Wheels at The Home Depot?
What's the price range for Grinding Wheels & Cut-Off Wheels?
Can Grinding Wheels & Cut-Off Wheels be returned?
Bought a Ridgid R86047B 4 1/2" angle grinder from Home Depot. The box says 5/8" arbor, but a 7/8" grinder wheel is included. What a fail!
Anyway, I want to use 4 1/2" cut-off wheel to cut a couple of pavers, just a few. The manual says to use ONLY a type 27 grinder wheel, NEVER attach a Type 1 or straight cut-off wheel to this grinder.
I wanted an angle grinder to do the occasional cutting. A 3" cutter is too small and lightweight. I have other Ridgid tools and don't want to buy into another line of products. They do not make a 4 1/2" machine that is recommended for cutting. So...
Does anyone have experience using a Ridgid angle grinder for cutting? Why do they say not to use it for Type 1 or flat blades? I would use a correctly spec-ed blade. Why do they say NEVER? Any thoughts? thanks in advance.
