I've had the Micke corner workstation in my bedroom for a few years. I work overnights from home now though, and it's not ideal to have my partner sleeping 5ft away (for either of us). I want to move it out to my living room, but as far as I can tell, there's no way to get it through the doorway in one piece. The instructions include all of the little steps of adding shelves and whatnot and I end up too lost to try to reverse engineer it. Is there an easier way? Is it possible to just remove the hutch from the desk, or do I have to do it piece by piece?

I think if you remove the locking parts (110126) at steps 30, 32, 38 and 44, the ones that hold on to the screws added in step 24, the top part should come off in one piece.

The opening is 24” wide and 24 1/2” tall. ... I could potentially be picking this up on the weekend, if I do I shall report back! ... It’s the same height as the rest of the MICKE, and same with the depth, so look up one of the others and you’ll get both measurements :)
